The IMax 3D Under the Sea is just amazing using these glasses.
HomeTheaterDad
Much better on every level compared to the Sony 250's and the new 750's.

And sure enough.... they are much more forgiving with head tilt.

I purchased two of these glasses for my Panasonic VIERA TC-P46ST30 Plasma TV. These glasses work wonderfully with it. Out of the box they had a partial charge, but I let them charge for a couple hours to a Green LED before using them. The synchronization process was quick and painless, and so far they have not forgotten the setting. They work great, even when lying down, or if you tilt your head, even to extreme angles. They work well from a relatively significant offset as well. They do darken the screen some, but that is easily rectified by changing the TV setting to Vibrant. I've noticed zero ghosting or flickering. These were significantly cheaper than the Panasonic glasses, but more expensive than other "universal" glasses. I think these glasses look the least...dorky...than most glasses available, and are very comfy. Even if they fit your nose without a nose piece inserted, I'd recommend you put the larger one on anyways...it made a word of difference in comfort. They are lightweight and don't hurt after a few hours of wearing them...especially with the nosepiece.

The cleaning cloth and hard carrying case are a great added bonus.

Overall, these are a 10/10...I'd strongly recommend them.

I bought the Sony VPL 30 HW AES projector and I plan to buy a Sony 3D TV in the near future. I thought Sony glasses would work with all Sony, and boy was I wrong! The projector 3D signal is only IR signal and the (future purchase of any ) TV could be either IR or RF signal. Thought the XBR250 glasses would work on my projector and found out only the TDG JP1 glasses (in box) work. Hard to find additional pairs of TDG JP1. Read about Xpand103s and determined they would work for projector but the Xpand104s will give me options for a second 3D TV ( either IR or RF) .
Bought 1 pair of Xpand104s and was nervous about results, even after reading Amazon reviews! THEY WORK GREAT. Even better than the Sony pair. I can sit off to side and not worry about tilting my head and "losing" IR signal. The Sony glasses have less tolerance if you "look down" from screen.... Xpands are better. My last confusion was cleared up as I realize the dongle device is not included so I have the "option" but need to spend more $ ( about $25) to have the "ability" down the road. That can wait........
Glasses are a simple set up out of the box, SET IT AND FORGET IT .....face the transmitter and push a button and they sinc up perfectly and it remembers your setting for next time. Xpand answered my questions, Monster never called me back, Xpand was cheaper for me, Monster only offers RF signal and I would need to convert my IR on projector, which means more money and throw out the Sony glasses that were included ( too expensive to even think about) . Sorry this is long, but I am sure most of you that are reading these reviews do not want to make a very COSTLY mistake and get glasses that don't work. I will be buying many more of these glasses as soon as I take out a second mortgage . I can't sell my house now that I have a home theatre!!!

Like so many, I have done extensive research on glasses, compatibility, battery life and etc. The newer "standard" (look up "M-3DI") for IR glasses hasn't really gotten off the ground despite backing from heavyweights such as Sony, Samsung, Hitachi, Mitsubishi, Toshiba, Viewsonic and XPand. But I digress...

I have purchased 8 of these glasses to use with my Epson 6010 and have had them for several months. Two were purchased "used" through Amazon. All of them have worked great. The first time you turn them on you hold down the "on" button for a second, then let them sync. It remembers your TV/projector after that and I have never yet had to reset any of them.

I personally cannot see a difference in visual quality between these and the Epson OEM glasses that came with the projector other than a shade darker in dark scenes. The few times I have had a full 10 viewers watching a 3D movie (8x Xpand, 2x Epson), you can be sure not everyone was in the sweet spot. None have ever complained of the 3D losing sync or having to hold/tilt their head "just-so" as other reviewers have experienced. Looking back and forth while wearing these glasses also does not seem to affect the sync.

We have a pretty good selection of 3D in our collection. The IMax 3D Under the Sea is just amazing using these glasses. From the "3D Tahiti Tidal Wave" to "How to Train your Dragon" I have not seen any significant ghosting or artifacts. Avengers 3D also looked very, very good, though any movie is hard pressed to match an IMax film for effect.

The batteries seem to last at least 5 movies before recharging them. I suspect that only one needs to be charged that often but haven't tracked it.

If you have a Samsung DLP (LED) TV these are probably the best glasses you can buy (outside of RealD Crystal Eyes 5 pro glasses $$$)!

+POSITIVES+

+Probably the best IR glasses you can get for a DLP TV. They allow the most light in.

+ Comparisions: I had the x102's and saw VIVID rainbows on the all the way down the right side of my TV. With the x104's there are still rainbows on the left but only on the top 1/4 and they are really washed out and only noticeable in white scenes. Monstervision's had Rainbows on BOTH sides of the TV, but were just as good as the x104's otherwise. Samsung 2200 kids versions were good too, just a bit darker picture with those than the x104's.

-NEGATVIES-

-You can't edit the settings realtime (while watching) Other than that they are fantastic.

-Size: I wear 7 and 5/8 hat size (large head) and these glasses are barely comfortable. If your head is larger you may have issues.

-I would prefer some light blockage on the sides, but I'm sure that would add some weight
