5.0 out of 5 stars Good Music, but NOT Happy Hardcore
I love this cd. The title is misleading, however. There are only a few happy songs on it. The style of music leans more towards trance than HH. If you are really looking for HAPPY hardcore, check out the "Happy 2b Hardcore" series. The music on this cd is good, but should be labled differently.

3.0 out of 5 stars Not bad but too Trancey
I LOVE Happy Hardcore. I throw events for HHC, I make HHC music, and I also spin HHC music. When I saw this at Best Buy for 7.99 I had to buy it. Then I got it home and was extremely disappointed. I love the old school hard and fast happy hardcore. This stuff seemed like the new trancey hardcore. Only about one song with female vocals which was a decent track but...

5.0 out of 5 stars Classic Scott Brown, October 8, 2010

This is a great track list of classic Scott Brown Happy Hardcore. Sure, it's not strictly happy hardcore, but why argue with what the CD says it is? If you like Scott Brown, this is a great CD to add to your collection.

This CD tore me away from all the Trance and all. Absolutely happy and feel-good songs are on this. The best track on this is definetly Elysium with that uplifting and amazing piano melody! Buy it, it's a good CD to get into Happy Hardcore with.

5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome!, February 13, 2005
This review is from: Xperience Happy Hardcore (Audio CD)
The music is awesome! It's not the same kind of stuff you'd hear on a Happy 2b Hardcore CD (Moonshine, [same company]), but it's still great! If you like Happy Hardcore you'll like this CD!

5.0 out of 5 stars Not Happy, but Hardcore, February 8, 2005
This review is from: Xperience Happy Hardcore (Audio CD)
I think someone has to be on mind altering substances to enjoy the happy cheesy hardcore because I don't take them and I find that kind of music to be ridiculous. I like trance, but I've found that most of it isn't fast enough. This is mostly trance with that fast hardcore edge. Other good stuff to check out would be stuff that is done by Hixxy. The Happy 2B Hardcore compilations are pretty good too. Stay away from the "Happy Happy Hardcore" disk though. Its total garbage.

5.0 out of 5 stars Scott Brown Rox My Sox, February 25, 2004

Ok first off, this is not the cheesecore that most people associate with happy hardcore, this is its evolved form...U.K. Hardcore, some people also call it trancecore and freeform. But his CD has plenty of energy. It has one of the greatest Scott Brown trax ever...Elysium!!! Great song, enough to the buy the whole CD for :) but the other songs are also good, Especially Forever Yours, and Everytime...
Buy this :)

Only about one song with female vocals which was a decent track but most of the rest just sucked. Scott Brown is one of my favorite Dj's besides Hixxy but he should have never put his name on this one. Throw a lil breakbeat or drum n bass into it. Something to break up the trance. The sad thing is that it's cheap and people that don't know the music will pick it up and believe that this is truly Happy Hardcore. That's why they should pay the extra and get Happy 2 B Hardcore or just invest in a turntable and grab some tracks that really represent the scene.

4.0 out of 5 stars Hey, it's a cheap Scott Brown collection., August 18, 2003

If you're looking for cheesy, happy hardcore, then keep shopping. This album is really more trancecore or techno, but in my experience there's such a broad range of sub-genres thrown into the "HHC" bin that the title of this album isn't totally off.

If you like Scott Brown, then this is a nice, inexpensive collection of some of his work. Think of it as a low-risk investment in one of the top names in HHC.

4 stars. Not the most inspiring mix ever, but plenty of bang for the buck.

1.0 out of 5 stars "Xperience"?, March 25, 2003
This review is from: Xperience Happy Hardcore (Audio CD)
I must say that this is not 'happy hardcore'. I was seduced by the low price and title and went "okay, this will be cool'. It's really not. It's more techno then anything else, and not even good techno at that. If you want happy hardore, I suggest anything in the 'Happy 2b Hardcore' realm, especialy chapters 1,2,and 4, Happy Hardcore Hysteria; Happy Hardcore Foundation,Vol 1 and Vol. 2. Anything can be better then this.
