Kostas is a great song writer in traditional easy-listening Country style. All his tunes have full instrumental backing, usually with great fiddle work. Typical of his work are tunes such as "Good Mornin' Memories", "Full Deck of Cards", "She Ain't My Baby Anymore" and "Ain't That Lonely Yet". Much of his work is used by greats such as Dwight Yoakam, Rick Trevino, Patty Loveless, Marty Stuart and many others. If you havn't got this CD, get it, sit back and listen to this great songwriter and singer. I can't wait for his second CD.

Kostas is truly one of America's great heartland songwriter's. He speaks the language of a wise soul. There is no pretense or fake charm in him. What you hear is what you get. His ability to create beautiful lyrics and melodies out of ordinary English words never fails to amaze me. He is an extraordinary talent and he's been my good friend and soulmate for almost 50 years.(K-Man we're getting old.) Buy this album and you will be richer for it.

This is a nice showcase for Top 40 country songwriter Kostas, featuring his version of "Blame It On Your Heart," a big hit for Patty Loveless in 1994, when this album was recorded. Although I like how he sounds, Kostas didn't have the kind of voice that makes it big on radio, but his band here is pretty hot, and the record is really solid. Most of the tracks are uptempo (only one horrible pop ballad) and have pleasant real country roots. Definitely worth checking out! (DJ Joe Sixpack)
