This review is from: Xtend & Climb 760 Aluminum Telescoping Ladder Type II with Aluminum Coupling, 10-1/2-Foot (Tools & Home Improvement)
When I got injured at work, I started to lighten my gear I haul around as a network tech. This ladder seemed like just the thing I needed, but the proof came today. When the communications panel was installed in the wiring closet at a client's site, someone forgot to put a ground lug on it, and the plans called for this to all take place eight feet off the ground. This closet also had the sprinkler system in there, so space was more than a little tight. I doubt I could have gotten a folding ladder in there, at least not close enough to use safely. This meant the job entailed the removal of the panel, installation of the ground lug, and reinstallation of the panel... a four hour job on a good day, which most of the guys were betting that this wasn't. In I walk with the "midget ladder"... there was a lot of good natured flack about this, which stopped as soon as I extended the ladder and got to work. 30 minutes later I was done, and the questions began... most taking the form of where can I get one of those??? I could have sold my ladder for twice what I paid, but I couldn't be without it for the rest of the week. Your welcome for the referrals, Amazon. I bet you'll sell a few come payday. Bottom line: Use the right tool for the job. It's a 10.5 foot aluminium ANSI Class II extension ladder rated to 225 pounds. This fit my needs, but may not fit yours. Xtend and Climb makes up to Class Ia and up to 15.5 feet as well as a free standing stepladder. Do what works. This definitely works. They'll only laugh for a little while.

A well engineered tool,

The Xtend & Climb 760 works perfectly. It is well engineered, stable and attractive. It stores in a small space; as I need it to do, out-of-the-way in a hall closet until reached for to access attic storage. It leans neatly and unnoticed against the closet wall, waiting. When brought out, I can extend it quickly and easily. Climbing on it is sure-footed and feels secure. Retracting it goes just as smoothly as extending it because the latch buttons slide easlily, allowing the sections to retract smartly. This well executed piece of machinist's art is worth its modest cost.

This is the perfect solution for Motorhome owners.. You will always need a ladder and all others are cumbersome and don't fit anywhere. This ladder will get you where you want to go for cleaning and general maintenance of your motorhome and will fit almost anyplace.
