Perfect for beginners!, April 9, 2001
By A Customer
This review is from: Xtralite Beginner's Tone Up! [VHS] (VHS Tape)
I am 24 years-old and completely out-of-shape. I bought this video at a local store one month ago. I follow the 30-minute workout on this tape 3 to 4 times per week. I already see and feel the results! I definitely recommend this video to anyone who has never really exercised, but wants to start getting in shape! Along with a healthy diet, this video will help you reach your toning and/or weight-loss goals!

Good workout, but hard to hear., March 30, 1999

I enjoy Denise's encouragement and felt good about the toning I was doing. I definitely felt it the next day! The only problem I have with this video is that it is often difficult to hear due to background noise. I would highly recommend this video to someone just starting who wants to work with light weights.

Great for Seniors!, July 6, 2000
By A Customer
This review is from: Xtralite Beginner's Tone Up! [VHS] (VHS Tape)
I highly recommend this as an effective workout for Seniors as well as Beginners. Warmup, cool down and stretching are all included so the program is safe and effective as well as a great toning program. I attend classes twice a week and use this video as my third workout, or for dayswhen I have to miss my regular class. You can increase the intensity by increasing the weights, and you can use it as part of a complete program by also using the Aerobics Beginners by Denise.

Easy to follow along, February 7, 2011
This review is from: Xtralite Beginner's Tone Up! [VHS] (VHS Tape)
This video is about 30 minutes long. Like the title it is xtralite and a beginner's video. So all you advance stop here and go on to something more intense. To me, the video had a little bit of everything: a mild cardio warm up, weight lifting and a stretching cool down. For this video you will need a couple of items: a chair, hand weights, and maybe head and wrist bands. I would recommend this video to anyone who is just starting out.
