I've tried a few bluetooth speaker kits and never had much success with them. I always reverted back to my Jawbone headset as I either couldn't hear the other person or they couldn't hear me. The TRITTON AX Visor is the first car kit I've used that actually works. The noise canceling works really well. Not only that, it has some really cool features. A sensor inside the unit detects vibration, so it pairs up with my phone automatically right after I start the car. I can pair up my wife's phone and it'll connect with her phone automatically when she drives the car as well. The OLED display is easy to read and displays caller ID information from my iPhone whenever someone calls, which is really handy. I get about 2 weeks between charges and it's super easy to use. Definitely a keeper.

At last a Bluetoooth Speaker that is loud and clear enough to make calls without a hitch and to hear every word clearly. That is saying something for someone who detests electronic gadgets that do not perform as advertised. This one does. The auto-connect feature is great and you forget that it is even on until a call comes in!

I have been using my AX Visor for about two weeks now and although I like most things about it it has its problems with the firmware and then customer support. Many of the functions which influenced me to buy the unit simply do not work, although they are mentioned in the manual. Supposedly you can set ringer volume but you cannot (even though there is information on how to do this on their site). You cannot set the incoming volume until you receive a call (this cannot be done in standby mode). The instruction also specifically mentions the possibility to adjust microphone sensitivity which also does not work! There is absolutely no Power On indicator, so you sometimes wonder if it is working or not.

I have the most recent model with the newest version firmware. When I contacted customer support and they replied after 5 days they simply stated that these adjustments are not possible!!! GREAT customer support, but then these days all things are disposable, so why have customer support anyway?! The only thing I can HOPE for is that they will address these issues in the next firmware version which will come soon. I guess companies are more interested in launching a product then making sure it works properly. This seems to be such an instance.

On a positive note the units does work fine as a speakerphone when you take it home/to the office and the AX Visor is the only such unit I know of with this function. It does disconnect when you leave your car and goes into standby. When you restart you car engine the vibration sensor reconnects with your BT phone without any problems. As I mentioned from an engineering standpoint it is the ideal speakerphone/BT handsfree unit, but then the little things...

I will update this review if customer service comes through and does something about the firmware upgrade which will probably take care of all problems.
