I convinced myself that it probably wouldn't make any difference whether I got a CASE LOGIC case, or just any old brand. Well, I made the mistake of getting this XTREME case and now I have a case I don't really want to use.
A couople of the plastic sleeves have actually torn while I have been very gentle with this case. Every sleeve has a small plastic mini-sleeve on top to keep your discs from sliding out. But what's the point when it scratches your discs when you're trying to get them in or out? If you're using CD-Rs or DVD-Rs you probably don't want this case since those discs are very susceptible to scratches. I ended up cutting all of those tops off...and that was a pain. Other than this, the case holds a lot, has a very nice outside, and a high-quality zipper. If you keep your discs in there, and aren't always taking them in or out then this case will offer some great protection. Otherwise, I can't see the point of buying this case over a CASE LOGIC or another superior brand.

Fine Product - BEWARE REBATE,
By
This review is from: Xtreme TB224DKO 224-Disc CD/DVD Case (Electronics)
I ordered one of these cases back in November because it seemed like a fantastic deal after the rebate. The case itself is fine, and pretty good for the price. Outter construction is solid, the inner leaves are a bit thin. I sent in my rebate form as per the instructions, and about 8 weeks later I received a postcard from Tech B telling me that I had purchased the item at an invalid date and was ineligble for the rebate. As this was clearly not true (rebate goes from 8/1 - 12/31 and I purchased in November) I called Tech B who once again told me that I had an invalid purchase date. After arguing on the phone and reading them the text of their offer, they told me I should expect to get a check in about 12 weeks...we'll see if that actually happens. Likely they just figure that people won't go through the hassle of resubmitting their documentation. So if you order the product, don't count on ever getting your 15 dollars back.

FRAUD -- Don't count on a rebate,
By Meezl (United States) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Xtreme TB224DKO 224-Disc CD/DVD Case (Electronics)
Like a previous reviewer, I purchased this item with a rebate attached. Now I find my rebates have been denied because of an "incorrect UPC code". There is only one UPC code on the item; how can I have sent them the wrong one? Although I plan on continuing to fight this, I wholeheartedly recommend you reconsider purchasing this item. The real kicker is their line on the rebate form "Warning: Fraudulent submission could result in federal prosecution under mail fraud statutes." I wonder if I can get them prosecuted.

Rebate issues,
By
This review is from: Xtreme TB224DKO 224-Disc CD/DVD Case (Electronics)
Like previous reviewers I also bought the 320 CD case within the specified timeline (I bought mine on Dec. 13th). I submitted my rebate form with the original and only UPS code that came with the case on the date I received it (Dec 22). I received an e-mail today stating the UPC code was invalid. What a bunch of crap. I'm going to keep fighting for my rebate. I think this is the way they planned it so people will actually buy their garbage products. I've learned my lesson. I will never buy another TechB product.

Rebate is very slow to process,

This is a good product and they offer good price after rebate. However, on the rebate form they said you should receive your rebate within 8 weeks, I haven't receive my after more than 13 weeks (I bought three different products from them and none rebate have been received yet!). Good luck with your rebate

Piece of Junk,

The product is flimsy and the zipper is terrible. You would be happy with any other brand. The fabric that lines the outside of the case is fraying and the stitching is coming apart. I've only used it a couple of months. Definitely not worth it. Also, don't fall for the rebate trick if they offer it, you will not get your money back.

I got two of these back when they were something like $13 a piece, and thought they were well worth it. At the lower price they definitely are. While the sleeves could be better, they're not horrible. Sometimes you need to peel out the perferated part of the sleve (where the disk goes in). Other than that I find it to be a great case that's protective, waterproof, and easy to carry (not as bulky as some of the Case Logic cases of this size). For the price, you're definitely getting a fantastic buy. Though if you're looking to keep your collection in a constantly updated order, and thus will be taking them in and out moreso than usual, you might want to consider getting a case with removable pages instead. That was the only major drawback I saw.

Bought this product back in December because there was suppose to be a rebate. I have never received a rebate! Dishonest company. If you are buying the product because of the rebate, dont count on getting it.

a little friendly advice,

There's nothing especially wrong with this case that a week's airing out won't solve. The plastic smells pretty bad at first. What really bothers me though is that the re. bate is more than a little fishy. I ordered it through am prime and it still took quite a while, but not that long. I sent in the re. bate app promptly. It is good for orders from aug through end of year. It is not a month yet since I ordered it, and it must be sent in within 30 days.Yet, guess what? I get a mssg today: in valid purchase date. My advice: if you think these are worth full price, get them. if not....
