The hardest house around,

Xtreme literally takes techno-driven house to the extreme with its compilations, featuring some of the biggest remixers of the genre. Two powerhouse vocal tracks open the set-the Johnny vicious mix of Byron Stingly, and the Junior Vasquez mix of Catapila, which I think is one of Junior's all time best mixes. Slammin' techno riffs follow by brutal bill, plasmic honey, mike ski, and more. My only real complaint is the cover of "it's a fine day" by Miss Jane-it's just one of those songs that has always gotten under my skin-but at least the Jonathan Peters mix lives up to the quality of mixes on this disc. Track times:
1. that's the way love is (7:15) 2. Void (5:06) 3. set ya free (4:57) 4. Destiny Y2k (6:17) 5. One life (4:36) 6. Make some noise (6:40) 7. Tonight's agenda (5:54) 8. Take my soul (6:27) 9. Communication (3:38) 10. sst (listen) (8:57) 11. it's a fine day (6:18) 12. The theme (for elise) (6:15)

**party party**,

This CD is perfect for a wild party. It would give you a perfect trance. I only gave it three stars because they "ruined" one song that I LOVE, which is IT'S A FINE DAY by Miss Jane. A lot of mixes in this CD, so if you want new beats to old songs, go for it. But if you like the songs as they are, this is a bad choice.
