The XtremeMac Car Charger for iPod shuffle is specifically designed to provide just the right amount of power to safely charge the iPod shuffle. It provides visual feedback of the charging status via an LED and includes two levels of circuit protection.
First, intelligent circuitry monitors both the iPod shuffle and the car power circuit for faults, if one is detected the Car Charger turns off the supply of power until the fault is corrected. Second, a built in fuse protects against excessive electrical current. Designed to match the iPod shuffle both in color and dimension, the Car Charger is a perfect fit.

Ok, apparently i should have checked here on Amazon before dropping $49.99 on this thing at Best Buy - that's my own fault though. Anyway, this product works wonderfully. I did quite a bit of research on FM transmitters before my purchase and was tentative and skeptical of them all since i couldn't find any that was rated higher than 3.5 stars. This product works exactly as it should. The signal is strong and the unit is very simple to program. I don't live in a large metro area with lots of frequencies, but even if i did, that wouldn't be the fault of XtremeMac. If you've got a Shuffle, you won't be disappointed with this product. Just don't purchase it from Best Buy!
