I'll cut to the chase: the battery works as advertised, essentially doubling the use time of the iPhone4 so one is much less dependent on having to find an electrical outlet for a recharge. And this is good, very good. But after six weeks of using the Incharge Mobile, the mini USB connector port on the bottom of the case simply broke. First it became a little loose, then finally the internal pins just collapsed, and the whole thing became useless because it can no longer be recharged. So in to the recycling bin it went. And just for clarification - I'm pretty gentle with these devices. I always make sure that the pins line up correctly, I never "force" them, etc., etc. So I think the design is flawed - one should never expect mini USB connections to last when they are constantly being used, as is clearly necessary with a phone such as this that requires routine and frequent recharging. The mini USB is simply not robust enough. If I find a similar product with a more sturdy connector, I'll buy it. But I won't waste my money on poorly engineered devices with mini USB jacks that are not designed to last.

Pros:

- Most battery cases put the batteries in the bottom of the phone, which make the phone longer. This one puts the battery in the back. I prefer this design because it makes it fit in my pocket like before.
- I can still connect the phone to the computer without removing the case (via USB mini cable, so you can get rid of your original iPhone cable)
- I like the one-click battery indicator.
- The camera *hole* on the back fits the camera perfectly. It doesn't block the camera.
- It has a battery on/off switch, although I always leave it on.
- The case has extra holes for the speakers, so it doesn't block the sound.
- The case seems very solid. Doesn't feel like making of cheap material.
- Love the built-in stand. Previously I needed to use a GPS holder for video conferencing.

Cons:
- I found that the dust like to stick around camera hole although it does not block the camera. I need to *blow* the dust away once to twice a week. This is really no big deal.
- I connect my iPhone to my computer through a shared USB hub. If the hub is busy (e.g., transferring files to USB external drive), iPhone may complain that the charging device is incompatible. I suggest to charge battery using a dedicated USB power adapter, and connect to the computer if you need to sync with iTunes.

Update (After using it heavily for 3 months):
I use my iPhone with a lot of performance features enabled, including:
- Checking the email every 15 minutes (instead of waiting for the server to push new emails)
- 80% of the time is on 3G (instead of WiFi)
- Enable Bluetooth
- Enable network tethering (Internet sharing)

With all of these features enabled, the combined power can last for 12 hours without any problem. At the end of the day, the power level of the battery case is 0% and the power level of my iPhone is 10%. Overall, I am very satisfied with its performance. Highly recommend!

Because of two reviews of this product, I almost passed, and have to wonder if this is why Amazon is no longer selling this product. This thing is perfect. I used to charge my phone every night, now I charge it every three nights; more than doubling the battery life. Case is a perfect fit to the iPhone 4. I decided to write this review after I climbed up in my attic and my iPhone slipped out of my pocket, falling approximately 10 foot down, landing on the cement garage floor. No scratch to the case, battery still works, and still snug on the phone. Unbelievable! I have since bought another for my wife. Sometimes, as I read these reviews, wonder if some people just can't be pleased.

8/9/12 Update....
Still going strong. Climbed into the attic three months ago. 8 foot high ceiling. As I was entering the attic, my iPhone fell out of my pocket and hit the cement garage floor. A fall of at least 10 foot, as I was almost standing in the attic when it dropped. I just knew it was broke. This case had one little mark on one corner and that was it. Still working, screen intact. My phone has zero signs of the fall. GREAT CASE!!!
