It's hard to get excited about a car charger for your iPod or iPhone, but this one's great. First, it's black which better matches the interior in most cars that the more prevalent white. Second, the blue power indicator is square, soft and elegant - not a harsh round red LED. Third, and most important, the power cord can be detached from the adapter and used as a secondary iPod/iPhone cord. It's also a nice heavy gauge of wire. I definitely recommend this over any other auto charger!

This is a great charger for the iPhone. I like the look -- very sporty! The cord is longer than the recharging docking stand that comes with the iPhone so I use the Incharge charger much more often. Also, I can use this charger without removing the iPhone case (I have one of those skin-styles).

In regards to the one issue that I heard read about this recharger -- that it is difficult to remove from the iPhone... The version that I bought from Amazon has been redesigned to fix that issue. Now all you have to do is pull the connector straight out from the iPhone. I also have a second Incharge recharger with the old design and it was very difficult to remove when I first got the recharger. However, over time and many uses it has worn down a bit and is now very easy to remove so I don't think that really was a design flaw anyway...

The charger is sleek looking and fits snugly in the cigraette lighter. The problem is that it makes all the radio stations go to static when it's plugged in! I couldn't believe it! If you want to sit in silence as your iPhone or iPod charges, this is a good value. If you want to listen to the radio, you sure won't be charging anything at the same time with this!

12/2010 Edit: I have found that the problem I am having with this does not happen in all cars. It seems to affect some vehicles, and in others it works great! I guess you just have to try to find out. Of course if you are listening to the iPod/iPhone while charging, it doesn't make a difference! Only if you listen to the radio.

Very well designed. Fits snug in typical car adapter, and does not come loose easily. It is "made for iPhone". Dual purpose - charge in car or through USB port.

I agree with a previous reviewer, it causes static with many radio stations while charging my iphone.

I love the fact that it utilizes a removable iPhone/iPod charging cable. I have a USB charged bluetooth speaker phone, so this handy item can charge both buy just swapping out the cable.

I've owned this for 2.5 months. I leave it in my car all the time, and I have had no issues whatsoever. Great car charger!

It does the job! It would be nice if the cable it comes with also charges the iphone bt earpiece.

It looks and works great. I charge my iphone, my daughters ipod, my bluetooth headset...whatever will charge from a USB port. I leave the adapter plugged in and remove the cord when not in use.
Even the price is attractive.

This product has the best price I can find anywhere, and it even beats similar product at Wal-mart. I have tried it to recharge my iPhone 3G both in the car and at home computer, both worked very well.

I use Otterbox Defender case for my iphone and several generic chargers I tried are too big to fit into the round openning of the case, but this product has a slightly thinner connection end, all I did is to use a box-cutter to trim very little off the plastics around the charger's connection pin, and it fits and slides in and out the phone/case very easily.

I like its detachable USB cable so I can use it both in the car and office to charge my phone without bringing the original USB cable with me from home... I am very happy about the product!

It works like well and hasn't fallen apart or failed to work for me so far. Even in the cold car (it gets a little stiff) but functions well for me!
