5.0 out of 5 stars Mayan mysticism brought to tarot, December 11, 2003

This review is from: Mayan (Xultun) Tarot Deck (English, French, German, Italian and Spanish Edition) (Cards)
XULTUN is a Mayan word and is the count of 360 holy days of the calendar. XULTUN TAROT was designed in 1976 by Peter Balin to incorporate the marvelous symbolism and esoteric practices of the Mayan Indians, and how closely they correspond to the Oriental and Occidental paths towards enlightenment. There are direct links between this deck and the teachings of Don Juan the Yaqui sorcerer, as outlined in the books by Carlos Castaneda. The cards are oversized and can be layed out to form a mural.
