There are many tools and toys for jewelers, but the best tools are the ones that feel right and work perfectly. These make the smallest, smoothest loops of any pliers and are comfortable enough to let me use them for hours. Wish I had found them about 20 sets of pliers ago - my work bench would be much tidier (I just can't toss out a tool that isn't broken). Now I'll look for Xuron tools first.

These pliers make extremely fine loops in 24 gauge wire. I can make loops just slightly bigger than the diameter of 24 gauge wire.

The tips are fine, just like they look. I bought them because my pliers are much coarser, heavier duty.

I'm still getting used to them and realize that I need to use them for the finer jewelry wire projects; not just to make finer loops, but because the heavier wire needs a heavier gauge hinge.
