My daughter (who is 2 yrs old) LOVES this DVD. It`s colorful, the songs are catchy and even her little friends who don`t speak Portuguese get into the magic of Xuxa.
We also love XSPB 2 (excelent for people who are raising bilingual children, because it has songs they already know in English like "the wheels on the bus", "A,B,C", etc.), XSPB 6 (but this is more for the old fans. It has all the big hits with new presentation), XSPB 7 (it has all old fashion Brazilian games. Fun!!) and XSPB 8 (original Brazilian songs and also catchy for older children. Another big hit in our house!)

My daughter got this for her first birthday. Since her dad is Brazilian, we had tried the Xuxa TV show which was way too old for her, however, this DVD is fantastic! This is her favorite DVD by far...it has great, catchy songs that stick even in my head (despite the fact that I hardly know Portuguese) and is so colorful it is hard not to want to watch it. I like it because it has English captions to help me and I hope it will help my daughter to be bi-lingual as she learns to talk. My only problem with it is that clowns creep me out...But I'm ordering some of Xuxa's other DVDs in hopes that they are just as entertaining!

Xuxa has a great collection of DVD for little ones. The video is very colorfull and tons of music. I am yet to see an american DVD that has so much action. My daugther loves it.

My Children love Xuxa and this Dvd is great. They can do karoke with this DVD. I can put English captions on to help let the children know what the songs area about. My husband is from Brazil, but my children know very limited Portuguese, so we try to introduce things like this to help them know more. Xuxa is great to get them singing and dancing. I would recommend this for any small child. Mine are 3 and 6 and they love it. I also bought volume 2 which comes with a music cd, great for the car. If you want to introduce small children to a different language this is wonderful and fun. Go buy it!!
