I know I am going to be blastin this cd for a very long time.

I love bands like Cannibal Corpse, Krisiun and Decapitated for many reasons, mostly because the production is great and they're songs stand out and are memorable.

Having heard only half this album I'd still rate it as one of the top metal albums of the last 10 years.

I have been listening to Vader for a long time and this is the Vader set to rule all others. All of these songs have been re-recorded and the production is killer. I don't care if fans own the previous releases with these tracks, they will want to get this set. It's about time that Vader gets the production work that they deserve. You are able to hear everything from the incredible drumming, fantastic solos and vocals with complete clarity. This two disc set has a great amount of variety that spans their career up to this point. I could have picked a few more tracks that I would have liked to have heard on this release, as with any "best of", but they did a great job of compiling this set. It is a great value as well, I would have paid the same price for EACH of these discs. Bottom line is, fans will not be disappointed.

I'd never heard of Vader until my son loaned me disk two of their album XXV. I've ordered the whole thing on the strength of that CD. Having heard only half this album I'd still rate it as one of the top metal albums of the last 10 years. This is what the power and the glory is all about. From th end of Track 5 through most of track 10 of disk 2 may well be the best four song (and pieces) series in all of metal, certainly within the last ten to fifteen years.

Vader reminds me a bit of Slayer, but with more of what I loved Slayer for. Thus my title, Super Slayer.

This album blew me away. I became a fan of VADER last year when I saw them playing live at Pop's in Sauget, IL. My band actually opened for them. Anyways, I've heard a huge majority of Vader's material, but on this album the production really catches your attention. I know I am going to be blastin this cd for a very long time.

I love bands like Cannibal Corpse, Krisiun and Decapitated for many reasons, mostly because the production is great and they're songs stand out and are memorable. I first heard this band with their album The Beast a few years ago when that came out and even though it's grown on me and is a good album, it don't think it was a very good intro to the band and it was all that I had heard from them. Well, I just bought Necropolis based on all of the good reviews and I cannot stop listening to it, in fact, it is the best album I've heard in a long, long time and honestly it hasn't come out of my truck cd player for a week and I've probably listened to it a good 10-15 times... so I bought this (Ahhh, Amazon Prime) and I must say: BAD A$$ and money well spent!!! Bands tend to come into my life whenever they just do, so I'm not going to sit here and tell you I'm a Death metal expert or anything, I just like what I like. Production is a BIG deal with me, if the songs are great but the production blows, to me, it's a crap record. On that same note, if the songs all sound the same, it get's boring. This collection of songs will blow you away if you are a fan of: heavy music, death metal, awesome production, Slayer, the almighty guitar riff, Slayer-esqe Soloing, awesome drumming, killer songs, distinguishable vocals, songs about satan, hell, goats, blood, evil but in a cool rock and roll way... You probably won't like this if you are constantly looking for the MOST serious, more evil than thou grim black frostbitten record/demo, recorded in a tin can in a frozen forest in hell produced by the devil sitting on a darkthrone in tr00 corpsepaint on a full moon kind of music. J/K... But what I am trying to say is that if you loved Necropolis, you're gonna love this if you haven't heard it already, I sure do...

Ive been a Vader fan for roughly 10 years and have all their albums. When I started listening to this the other night, i was blown away. The production on this is incredible(much better than the samples on here). I usually my car cd player at volume 18, but Ive had this only up to 16. The only complaint that I think people might have(but it didnt bother me) is that keyboards were added to some songs(think dragonlord). My favorite song so far is 'reborn in flames', which has the dude from severe torture on vocals. When I heard it, i couldnt help but think this is what the new deicide album shouldve been(which is probably my big disappoint this year). I just hope their new album sounds like this
