This product is amazing, and it's bigger than you think it is. Turns smoothly, with no wrinkles or bubbles in the final product. It's perfect for velum or fiberous thin papers, which are always difficult to attach, (because glue shows through horribly.) I would have gladly paid twice as much for this product now that I've tried it. (If you're planning on making stickers out of regular cardstock to paper though, you might as well just use glue. If you're working with slightly see-through or plastic papers however, this is the perfect product for you.)

As a typical crafter/scrapbooker, I have lots of gadgets and inventory. " Who needs another expensive toy?", I thought. There just isn't time or room for every new thing on the market and so much of it is just fluff.

I LOVE THIS THING!!!!!!

1. The adhesive comes in permanent or temporary..... girls love choices

2. The adhesive is dry..no more sticky fingers or wet glue running around the corners of your scrap-book embellishments...this thing lays the exact amount of adhesive right to the edges so there is no curls. And if it does go over a little, just a tiny rub of your finger will clear it up!! (no more smudges!!)

3. Works great with vellum and other specialty papers.

4. I have been cutting out sayings and pictures from printed scrap-book paper. After running through the xyron, I placed on card-stock, cut around the edges, and ran the whole thing through again!! My pages look professional, neat and clean with crisp edges that all lay down.

5. Dry adhesive means no more waiting for your pages to dry before embellishing them further, or putting them into albums.

I definately recommend a Xyron adhesive runner for any crafter, but especially scrapbookers. Be prepared. It is bigger than it looks. And it may set your heart wandering for the other Xyron products! It has mine!!

My daughter recieved this over three years ago. I keep buying cartridge refills. It's a very durabale product that she uses over and over again. She loves cutting pictures and designs off of wrapping paper scraps and putting them through the sticker maker to make matching cards for the gifts. Great for scrapbooking. You can put actual photos through it which has been handy for doing her VIP board for school, etc. The possibilities are endless. WE LOVE THIS PRODUCT!!

I purchased this for my five-year-old daughter instead of buying one of the kids' version of it. It is so simple and easy to use that an unsupervised five-year-old can work it. The sticker material is not inexpensive, but the machine is efficient at how it uses it. With a little bit of tutoring my daughter knows how to conserve the tape and make it last a while. She makes cards and decorates artwork with it. I definitely recommend the repositionable adhesive for kids.

First of all I LOVE this thing, if you're thinking about buying...do it, do NOT hesitate. But to be fair I will let you know that it does have a slight waste problem. It's not bad, but its still pretty annoying that you loose about 1/2 inch of sheet whenever you use it. That and it's a little tricky to load small die cuts.

With that said, for me at least, it's not a bigg deal at all. I use this thing EVERY time. So just get it, you will be happy you did.

My son received this for Christmas last year, and has had a great time with it. He loves coloring pictures and turning them into stickers! The only difficult thing for him is turning the handle. The secret? Reminding him not to push on the top while turning... Also, I've learned to pre-cut the pieces for him since the strip/insertion hole isn't really wide.

I already owned the 1", 5" and 9" Xyron Creative Stations. I have a Cricut Expression that I use for my scrapbooking and card making and the Xyron Create-a-Sticker and Creative Stations help are invaluable in putting the Cricut cuts together. I needed the Xyron 2.5" for those items that were too large for the 1" and too small for the 5" Xrons. For those that are not familiar with the Xyron Create-a-Stickers, you feed a flat item face up into the machine, turn the handle, and the item comes out the other side with adhesive on its backside. You then just peel it off the backing and stick it on your scrapbook page or card. The best part is that you don't have to worry about having the proper width of adhesive tape or having glue seep out. There are different cartridges for the machines but I have never tried them.

Let me start by saying that I am not into scrapbooking and I don't consider myself to be very creative. However, I have a five year old son who absolutely LOVES to do crafts. I picked up this sticker maker on Amazon at a great price and it is so incredibly easy to use. I am so impressed by how well the finished product sticks to the page!! Even cutouts from magazines stick perfectly! My son and I printed some photos off our computer, cut them down to size, and made a bunch of stickers. My son them placed the stickers onto a card for his older brother who just joined the air force. My son basically made the stickers himself, but I just stuck around to supervise. I don't think the rolls are going to last very long, so we are going to have to buy some replacements, but they will be well worth it! Thank you Xyron for making a simple and effective product that even the creatively challenged can use with ease!! I highly recommend this over the toy versions I have researched!! Durable and useful!

This was an impulse purchase when it was on gold box for $11, but I think it will be really handy. I don't scapbook, but I am planning to print out address labels on regular printer paper and then stick them to the envelopes using this machine. I cut out some pictures of my kids and put them on old refrigerator magnets from various businesses. I downloaded some images by googling key words and pasted them in to a word doc - you can turn the margins on to make sure you scale them below 2 1/2 inches, then I printed them in color and made my own stickers for the kids. The temporary cartridge is good for little kids who stick them everyone you don't want them, they will actually fall off after a while. And you can use the permanent cartridge when you need it. There are so many things you can do with this, it even comes with a nice color book of ideas. The best part is that you can easily take it right out of the box and start using it, there's no assembly and no sharp plastic packing to cut away. It's just a neat, fun thing to have.

We found the "Xyron Create-a-Sticker Sticker Maker" on an Amazon Gold Box sale for about 1/2 the normal price, so thought it was worth taking a chance buying one. I now wish we had bought one earlier!

We are "craft" people and always have projects going for our business or kid's school work that require stickers. This clever device turns almost any flat object that can fit into the machine into stickers. My wife even put coins into it and they worked just fine.

The best part, for me, was being able to fix our old Christmas music boxes that had paper lables pealing off. The Xyron machine was able to apply a sticky backing and the music boxes are now as good as new!

This is a really cool tool that works much better than expected! Highly Recommended!
