C. Diane Palmer holds a B.S. in Microbiology and Chemistry, a M.S. in Civil Engineering and a M.B.A. in Industrial Management and is a registered Professional Engineer. Allen M. Mullins holds a B.A. and a M.B.A. in Accounting and is a Certified Public Accountant. O. Dwayne Price holds a B.S. in Industrial Engineering and a M.S. in Industrial Engineering and a M.B.A. in Industrial Management and is a registered Professional Engineer.
Both Ms. Palmer and Mr. Mullins have worked as high level managers in local governments, as engineering and accounting consultants in private practice, and as amangement consultants to local and state governments and public and private utilities during their tenure with KPMG Peat Marwick, LLP. Mr. Price has worked as an engineer and manager in the materials handling industry and as a management consultant in the retail industry during his tenure with Deloitte & Touche, LLP. All three currently own their own consulting firms, which ! provide management consulting services for implementation of large and small information systems, as well as, engineering and accounting services.

Practical, down to earth advise for preparing for Year 2000!,

Being a Y2K project director, I have talked to numerous people and poured through massive amounts of written material. I found "Y2K Survival Handbook for the Urban Family" to be well written and easy to read and understand. This book also provides "Down to Earth" advise for preparing for Year 2000, without going to extremes. It is important for all of us to prepare for Y2K just as if we were preparing for a hurricane, tornado, flood, ice storm or any other natural disaster. This book provides a good roadmap for making these kinds of preparations. I would recommend this book to anybody looking for a good, common sense guide to Y2K readiness.
