I don't normally do reviews, but my first listen prompted me to sit down and write. This is one of the best compilations I've heard in a while. It's definitely the best of the Y4K series. Some of the tunes youve heard before, but they're remixed really well. My only criticism is the Aquasky/Masterblaster cut is such a great groove but it gets mixed out too soon. But that's me. :-) There are a lot of great moments to be had on this one. Hats off! I need to listen to it again! and again!

This is one of the shining stars in the Y4K series--Uberzone REALLY knows how to lay down the breaks! Their album is full of creative and well-mixed sounds. The great ethnic tracks like Soul Makosa and Little Ladies are definite highlights, and will thrill with their exotic sounds and ultra-solid rhythms. In fact, this album is even better than their debut album "Faith In The Future". They should be proud of what they've done here, I am very impressed. The electronic music market is flooded with so much nonsense these days--but Uberzone has stood out with this landmark album for Y4K. Well done guys!

you've been invited to a party, by a fellow co-worker. its on friday, she says be there around 9ish. it's only wednesday, you sit for the next 2 days pondering. "should i go, or should i not", you think to yourself. "i won't know any one there besides myself the the co-worker". friday comes and so does 9 o'clock. there you are, nervious as can be. standing there in the door way of this house, it's full. filled with ppl u dont know. you cant even seem to find your friend. you stumble threw the crowd, shoulder to shoulder, out of the corner of your eye, you see a save haven. you make you way slowly to the couch, and sit there, taking in the new view. new ppl, could be a bunch of new friends. but you, you just sit there. then you hear a familuar voice and it's the co-worker, she is having a ball. passing you by with just a quick hello. you sit, wacthing the clock go by, thinking, "maybe i should just leave, i feel so odd". you sit, hoping that the night, the music, the party, the ppl grab you and pick you up out of your shy shell. you make your mind up after a little thought, and you say to yourself, it's time to go. but just as your are about to get up. you again notice something out of the corner of your eye. it's this guy. "wow, you say to yourself, everyone he walks past he knows and he knows them well. you know this guy, he is the guy at the party that knows everyone, and is freinds with everyone. not only knows them, but their name, where they live, have kids, some on the way, or not even likely. he knows their dogs name, their cats name, even the fish's names. he is on his way over to you, walking striaght torwards you. but, but i dont know this guy. he says to you with a hand shake, come on buddy dont just sit there dance, laff, have fun, get up, mingle. and you do. the night, the party, the ppl, the crowd are now all your friends, the night ends in the wee bit morning hour, you had a blast and you cant wait for the next party at 9 o"clock, on friday. the guys name that knows everyone, well he is known as "Q", or better yet, UBERZONE. my point to the story, no matter who YOU ARE, what YOU listen too, the way YOU live your life, uberzone, and all that he does, has something for everyone. when i first bought and heard faith in the future, then digital mix, then y4k, and last, his single cd's, i wasnt listening to some crappy dj, playing the same old crappy tunes. the same tunes you hear on every cd you buy, just redone. what i was listening to was pure talent. not a dj at all, but a true artist, and a true master. uberzone, takes every nook and cranny, and fills them with elements, and sounds, and texture. stuff that just doesnt make you want to get up and dance, sound that totally tweeks your mind, and every inch of your soul. the coolest thing about uber that i have come up with for you, it doesnt matter which one you buy first, becuase what ever one it is, it will leaving craving for more, and the next cd. put it to you like this, uber could take a song that u hate, let's say by one of those dumb bimbo pop singers, britt, jessica, christina, who ever. a song you hate, by a singer you hate, and make you love it. thanx "Q" aka uberzone, for opening my ears, mind, body and soul. get it, you need it, you will want more. and that my friends is on the fo real, peace out, and lots of love to uberzone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
