I've owned my Yaqin MC-10L for a few months now and I love it. For the price, the performance can't be beat. I've owned several tube amps over the years and this one holds its own against those costing much more. The build quality is excellent. I picked up some Russian tubes to do some "tube rolling" at some point but so far I have not seen the need. I also own a Yaqin MS-12B pre-amp, an MS-22B pre-amp and an SD-CD3 tube buffer. The advice I would give is to buy through reputable dealers, do your research.

a hidden gem indeed. soundstage unequaled anywhere near this price point. it's addictive. tube rolling options bring the 10L into sublime audio territory.

The Yaqin amp arrived and I immediately started using it. I noticed a lack of power, but thought the unit was "Burning in" and continued to use it. The owners manual was written in Chinese, so that was useless. I blamed the lack of power on my speakers etc., so I replaced my cables, cd player and pre-amp. The RCA jacks were cheaply made and fell apart when I removed the interconnects, but I figured I could replace them at a later date. Finally the unit started to just sound Bad, so I took it to a vendor that specializes in tube amp repair (He is famous). I was at his shop for a couple of months before he called and announced that I had a 220 volt unit that was running at 1/2 power, thus it should sound terrible running on 120 Volts. I contacted Amazon and filed a claim as well as dozens of emails to the vendor that produced no result in terms of replacing or repairing the unit. In essence their position was that I had 10 days to return the unit or end up with a 60 pound paperweight. In the end I spent another $450 to have the unit serviced, replace the RCA jacks, upgrade the tubes and provide a transformer from 110 volts to 220. Horrible deal.
