Affirmed as inspiring and anointed, it is inevitable, with her stellar ministry on stage, that gospel recording artist Roslyn, will become one of the most reputable and recognizable singers in the gospel music industry. At the tender age of four, Roslyn discovered her love for music while singing in the church choir. As her talent began to flourish it became evident that she possessed a special gift. By age 17, Roslyn hung up her choir robe to begin her search for fame and fortune in the secular music industry. Her impressive stint included providing background vocals for Dennis Edwards, the lead singer of the Temptations. During her search for worldly stardom, Roslyn was introduced, became addicted, and later attempted to break a serious addiction to cocaine. It wasn’t until Roslyn was at her lowest point, contemplating suicide, that the Holy Ghost intervened. After confessing how much she needed God, He immediately delivered her from a nearly ten-year battle with drugs. “Even though I was raised in the church, there was a time when I was too ashamed to call on Jesus because I thought I wasn’t good enough for Him to care about me. I later found out, that was so far from the truth,” comments Roslyn. Now, armed with an uncompromising assurance from God and a renewed declaration, Roslyn has dedicated herself to a life of worship. She has wasted no time establishing herself as a voice for the Lord and to her credit has shared the stage with many top Gospel artists including Yolanda Adams, Vicki Winans, Fred Hammond, and The Williams Brothers. She is also the featured psalmist for world renowned motivational speaker Les Brown. "Roslyn is anointed, inspiring, and real. She received rave reviews for her starring role as the legendary gospel singer, Mahalia Jackson in the biographical musical, Mahalia. The contemporary “Everyday” is an up-tempo and enlivening song that gives praise to Jesus for His everlasting love and guidance. “Live Your Dreams” is an inspirational ballad that sheds light on the fact that many people hopelessly abandon their dreams due to unfortunate circumstances and events. “When writing this song, I wanted to remind people that Jesus not only cares about our needs, He also cares about our dreams, and will help us accomplish them if we’d only petition Him,” says Roslyn.
