My 10 yr child wanted to try badminton so I got a set from Target branded as sportscraft for eleven ninety-nine. It was soft and broke very fast. Then we bought a set of Yonex (the same set in the listing) and we are now much happier. This is heavier and much more solid, and with obviously better quality. We bought from the local SportsAuthority store for twenty-four ninety-nine before tax. BTW if you live in an area with a patch of flat ground and have a few days without any wind this is a wonderful sport for 10 to 99 year old!

These rackets came in a nice case that also holds the birdies. I wanted something that wouldn't break after a few uses and have been very satisfied with this purchase. The rackets are high quality and I would recommend this to anyone who wants to take up the game of badminton!

These are not real YONEX rackets they do not have the logo etched into the triangle under the head of the racket( which is how you can differentiate a real from a fake). The strings however are very study but not what the professionals would use. Although these are sturdy rackets the price is a bit expensive seeing as they are a misrepresentation of a Yonex racket. Also, the racket case and "birdies" are not of good quality

My husband & I got this to play for fun & exercise. We are novices, but they seem like good quality rackets to us and badminton is a whole lot of fun.

These are made with some seriously heavy materials. Unless you have quite large hands, you will not enjoy the feeling at the base of your thumb. Have other racquets that are still in good shape after hundreds of backyard games, they cost less, are much lighter, and have a better feel. I would not recommend these to anyone. Problem is, it's hard to find a racquet that's durable and reasonably priced. Most offered online are either those junky Sportcraft (disposables) for virtually no $$ or ones ranging from $50 to hundreds of $$ each. Best bet is to head to a sporting goods store and try to find one in the $15-$20 range; make sure it feels quite light in your hands.

It has been only a day since I got them, and so far I am very satisfied with the purchase. I am not a badminton pro, nor do I intend to become one... just wanted to order something that will be fun, and last longer than those cheap ones available at your local shops. Someone in their review said the racquets were heavy? I won't agree unless they got the wrong order? or they are senior citizens? Your hands will get tired even if you play with the lightest available racquets for a long time, and it should take a looooong time before you get tired with these!! But then again, it depends on your age and fitness.. and just for the record I am not the youngest or fittest person around :)

For amateur level racquets I found them to be very light and strong!! you can't go wrong if you are just ordering to play for fun in your backyard!!

The only thing I wasn't so happy with was the time it took them to arrive. They said free shipping could take 5-10 business days, and they weren't kidding! it took 10 business days including 4 days of weekend which made it the whole 2 weeks or 14 days!! Usually Amazon's free shipping takes less time than that, but they weren't shipped by Amazon.. so...!

- 2 Shuttlecocks broken after 2 days

If you want to buy this set, you need to buy extra shuttlecocks to play, otherwise, you have to make another order.

I bought the Package-2 Racket set for fun. The price is very cheap but I have to say that they are too heavy.

Well, I really liked these rackets. Yonex is a very good quality brand and IT IS THE REAL BRAND!! These rackets are very durable for there price. Yonex makes rackets in Japan and in China. With these they are made in china. I still like them allot. If you drop them, they wont brake. The only bad thing is the birdies are bad and you would have to buy better ones.

ok set. the birdies fly nicely. the only problem I have w/ the set is the material of the handles. if your palms get hot fast they slide easily on the material, it has no grip. the problem can probably be solved w/ gloves.
