This is a short paperback type book - to the point! The Big Picture about why stress makes you fat and the biology behind it all - in layman's terms so that you can remember it. Management techniques for stress: there are so many different types of stress and reasons for it from relationships, jobs, pain, etc. Basically the book gives the reader "75 valuable tips to reverse the effects of stress". Short, well written and to the point. I had to have my own copy because it is a handy reference guide AND reminder of how best to deal with some of the stressors that head my way sometimes. Good book.

You can read this book in one sitting. It's the type of book you can read while at the doctor's office or waiting for your car to be fixed. It reads more like a long how-to magazine article rather than like a book. The authors define stress, explain what stress does to the body, and offer traditional advice on how to cope with it. If you've read any books on stress prior to this one, you will not get any new information; It is strictly for those who have never read anything at all on stress.

Drs. Roizen & Oz have done so much for the health of people. I first saw them on PBS years ago, and have been a fan ever since. Their books are easy to read and understand and include humor to keep up the interest. In addition to buying their books (as well as books on CD) for myself, I've also bought them as gifts for family members. Sometimes just knowing what's going on with your body and your mind is a comfort. It's good to have this resource available.

I really liked the You: On a Diet book and I thought this would be similar. This is more a list of things you can do, which is helpful, but no one likes reading a list. :-( I think it would have been better as a book. Still, there is some very helpful information listed, especially if you have a very stressful life or stressful things in your life.

This book covers many familar topics and helps. The refreshers and extra help I enjoyed, making myself schedule the time for me, so I can be better for others and myself. I am an RN and care giver is my natural response to all............but burn out comes and overlooking that is not a good thing for anyone. Having read several YOU series book, I was particularly interested in YOU Stress Less - Since in almost every book 'stress' is identified as a significant cause of premature aging.

If you're like me, there is little new information contained in this book that couldn't be obtained by reading the other YOU books. HOWEVER, if you have no interest in reading all of the books - and Stress is of particular interest to you - this is a handy, concise, little tome that brings together ALL of the 'Stress' tidbits sprinkled throughout the other books.

So, if you're a one-stop shopper - This is your book!
