From AudioFile

The ubiquitous You authors now have a nifty program of music, instruction, and support that people can listen to as they walk. It will remind many listeners of TV exercise programs that seem silly but actually do keep people moving when they feel like going to the couch. Help with posture and breathing is part of the instruction, and the cheesy disco music becomes enjoyable once youre moving with the beat. The ongoing encouragement is genuine and upbeat, and the tunes are paced differently enough to make the 30-minute segments stimulating. With instructions for other rhythmic exercises as well, the program is great for anyone who needs the structure to maintain an exercise program, and is a useful companion to the authors other excellent book, YOU: ON A DIET. I love the 1st cd the music really inspires me to get on my treadmill and do the 30 min walk.

I would love for Dr. Roizen to create a few more so that we could have some variation in the music as well as the tip/encouragement.

Oz and Rosien, this CD was not worth buying....too basic and not enough info included to warrant buying and using the CD.

I have many walking music products, but this one keeps you in a constant, rhythmnic tempo. Disk one is a good tempo for me and I get a good workout from it. I haven't tried disk 2 yet. It is a faster tempo. You get encouraging words from the doctors as you walk and that too helps motivate you to continue til the end. I recommend this one. Thanks

If you're the type of person who gets bored about 10 minutes into the walk around your neighborhood, this CD program is a great way to help you to keep going. On this CD, you have the choice of a couple of differently paced walks, a music option, and during the walks you have an "angel" in your ear, talking with you and encouraging you to keep going.

When I walk, it's usually on a treadmill, and listening to this CD is a great alternative to watching the TV. It makes the time go faster, and it's a great way to keep track of how long you're walking. And I find it motivating.

I have lost about 30 lbs from treadmilling and watching my food consumption, following the guidelines that Dr. Roizen and Dr. Oz suggested.

The companion program is great too !! This is a recommended program.

Just getting back in the habit of walking that extra 30 minutes has be a difficult project for me. The music and encouragement has made my effforts much much easier and it's amazing how quickly the time passes. I would love for Dr. Roizen to create a few more so that we could have some variation in the music as well as the tip/encouragement. I'm still working on the stretches... flexibility will come with time I hope!

I really have enjoyed this walking CD. I like how they give you the option of walking with or without the narration. The cool down stretch routine is very handy as well.

The music is really not very inspiring and nothing that is said on these discs is new. You would be better off taking an mp3 player on a walk and playing your own music. I love Dr. Oz, but this is truly useless. And I had to scrounge around for an old diskman player. Use an mp3 and play your own music and save your money. Spend it on his books instead.

This has 2 CD's, each has a track with either commentary or just plain music. (I prefer the commentary) although I wish there was more information on it. It has suggestions like "remember to tighten your stomach while walking" etc...
The music is a little 80's ... but ok. The second CD I felt like was more for my mom... kind of surfer music theme. 1st CD is more like synthesizer/ tubular bells/ pure moods type music. Overall, I do use this on my mp3 player when I walk.

I'm not impressed. The music was ok, I'd much rather listen to my iPod or a CD player even than the authors telling me why walking is good (because no one has told me that one before).

I didn't find it a challenge at all. not enough interaction and instructions from Dr. Roisen. I was very disappointed with it and
wouldn't recommend it and yet I love their books and love to watch
them on t.v.
