Poor Video Quality, Cheap Product!,

This review is from: YY Trade Inc H480A524 Vandal Armor Infrared - 1/3" Sony Superhad Color CCD DSP 480 Lines High Resolution Mini Dome Camera 3.6mm Lens with Aluminum Box (Electronics)
I ordered this camera on cheap price, night vision and its weatherproof outdoor feature. But I was totally wrong. This YY Trade Inc H480A524 is at the low quality of video. The color things recorded by this during day is weird (Green color failed). It will die during the night, only blurry. I wasted my money on this purchase. Save your money, stay away from this product!

IR Dome Camera,

Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: YY Trade Inc H480A524 Vandal Armor Infrared - 1/3" Sony Superhad Color CCD DSP 480 Lines High Resolution Mini Dome Camera 3.6mm Lens with Aluminum Box (Electronics)
This is a very nice little camera and I feel it is a great value if you are looking for a color, dome style, camera with a 3.6mm lens (aprox.90 degree field of view)that can see at night. The 420 TV lines beat the 380 TV lines any day.
The aluminum housing seems very well made and appears to be anodized. The camera has very good night vision compared to the outdoor IR camera that came with my system. The IR camera that came with my system could not see more than 10 feet at night even with the outdoor lights on. Now at night I can see just about everything with no lights on. The camera was a little hard to aim due to the rubber O ring on which the camera ball rotates. The camera ball wanted to stick to the O ring. A little moisture seemed to resolve the sticking issue. The tiny set screws used to attach the ball bezel to the base were a little hard to get at. Be prepared for the BNC connector from the camera video to the field wiring. Power is by a standard 5.5mm X 2.1mm circular socket. The included instructions wern't very informative. I have another cmera coming to replace one inside the house. |
