4.0 out of 5 stars Great Capture Card
This is a wonderful capture card. I have ordered another one of these cards in addition to the 16-channel version. It is much better than the Q-See QSPDVR04 4-channel card for less (and this card has tv-out and records at twice the frame rate: 15fps). My only problem with the card is that the supplied software crashes when a full screen application like the screen saver...

i just recieved this in the mail today, first thing i notice, the manual is very poorly translated into english from another language and can be hard to follow. secondly once it was running, the max fps per channel out of four i could get was 6, and when set to 1 channel only 25fps. this card claims to be a 60fps card, im not even getting half of that. it also wasnt compatible with the computer dedicated for this card and i had to use it in another pc(chipset). now ive read some recent reviews and people are having a hard time getting a response. i hope i dont have the same problem as yytradeinc has sold me a mis-advertised product, isnt this illegal?

The refresh rate of this card is not advertised as described
You have to read between the lines to realize what that means. And this card you cannot get 30fps on a single camera no matter what. - There are significant limitations on the hardware. Ultimately I sent the card back.
Hope other customers see the this reviews before placing orders.

I bought this card for my cameras, it is not easy to use, and the software is awful, it is slow when changing settings. Tech support is non-existent. Would not recommend to anyone.

My only problem with the card is that the supplied software crashes when a full screen application like the screen saver comes on or you press ctrl-alt-del to bring up the windows security screen in xp. Other than that, the software has many more features than Super-DVR that is supplied with most other DVR Cards. Highly recommended.
