Dressed in an above-the-knee pleated skirt, a white blouse tied at the waist (just enough to show her midriff) and gray thigh-high stockings, Britney looks like she just stepped out of the "Baby One More Time" video. She has a wide smile, schoolgirl braids--pink bows and all--and the familiar, ultra-thin figure common to 11.5-inch fashion dolls (so she can share their clothes and accessories). But this doll has lots of added features packed into her lithe frame. In her back is a battery compartment for four 1.5-volt AAA batteries (included), with a removable song cartridge that can be replaced with other songs as the star's career continues. On her sides are control switches--one for volume and one to select a 20-second sample or the full version of "Baby One More Time." The on/off button also serves as Britney's belly button! Four tiny accessories come with the doll--a red school bag, Walkman, headset microphone, and an extra pair of shoes. When I got this thing, I started laughing. It doesn't look ANYTHING like the real Britney Spears. This thing is bulky. It has so much material on it, it looks like it's getting ready for winter. lol. Some of the clothes came apart when I got it. And, last, but not least, it's too big. It's kinda heavy, and I was totally disapointed. The face is just battered, like the doll had just been in a fight. If you want a good laugh, get this doll, but if you are serious, and want something really entertaining, go with another doll. It looks like E.T. from the side. lol Sorry, I was just expecting something better.

Bought this toy for my daughters 4th birthday. She adores it.
Its simple to operate and still fun. The music and singing are very plain and no static at all. Only thing I could say againist it is that it needs more than one song with it. The actual doll is really cute, and you can use regular barbie clothes if you want to change her. Its a really great toy.

My daughter has had this doll since July 2000. Britney Spears travels and signs her hit song "Hit me Baby One More Time" in full everywhere we go. Dolls, Barbie type, in our house like this are a dime a dozen this doll is one in a million.
