Yadira's Sky is outstanding. Rory's second novel is absolutely phenomenal. He has written a page-turner that's full of love, lies, and sorrow.

Yadira, an inspiring actress doesn't let anything stand in the way of her dreams. She won't let any of the drama in her life hold her down. This book is about a woman making her dreams a reality while knowing that the sky is her limit.

I read it & loved it, you gave each character a teaspoon of life in Yadira's Sky-her name is etched in my memory. In each chapter, we were where she was...meaning: she had something to do as well as something to say in each chapter. This book touched on alot of subjects that actually take place in life. Jeaulosy/domestic violence(Military King), infidelity, love lost and refound, dreams/aspirations., sickness...even death. The fact that Yadira had to do alot to get to where she was is real in this day & age....and believe me, you painted the picture well- I wasn't surprised that she & Blue would reunite-she was vividly excited when he called or came around. Thank you for opening up her life through your vision of Yadira Sky- I think you have an amazing gift that is designed to enlighten people. By all means I can't wait to see what happens next(yep Rory that is a hint....part 2)

In this fast-paced drama, Yadira's Sky by Rory D Sheriff will take you on a whirlwind of emotions. Yadira is a young girl with only one thing on her mind; young luscious thugs. The harder the better, she is drawn to them like a moth to a flame and nothing will stop her from having her way with them. That is until she runs into Blue Boy who tells her she is more than a fast girl, she should reach for the stars and strive for perfection. Blue Boys' mantra was "no matter what you do in life never settle".

Yadira and Blue were high school sweethearts until he left to go to college and pursue his football career. This left Lil Ms. Yadira to fend for herself and she began looking for love in all the wrong places. Yadira soon found out that getting married is not for everyone when she finds her husband in a compromising position. After dealing with his verbal and mental abuse, she decides to get a divorce. With countless affairs under her belt, she starts to realize that this lifestyle is boring and pursues her acting career; which takes her to new heights she never imagined possible.

Love will make you do crazy things as Yadira soon finds out the length her husband will go through to keep her. Hold on to your seats because this book is filled with ups-and-downs, highs-and-lows, and most of all drama. Will Yadira grow into the lovely, successful woman Blue Boy told her she would become? Will love conquer all? Stay tuned.

I recommend this book to readers of all genres; I loved the pacing of the storyline and the graphic details. The character developments made you feel like you actually knew these people and were there through everything. I cannot wait to see what Mr. Sheriff comes up with next.

For those of you that love to read and love romance with some heated passion, you have got to read Yadira's Sky. I received the book in the mail Tuesday, began reading it Wednesday night after work and by 8pm Thursday I was done. I rate it a A+.... the book was great.amazing. i even got teary eyed in some parts. the sex scenes felt so real. i dont think i have enough words.

This book took me through so many emotions...the sex scenes where great, it's a book that will keep you turning the pages and bam there is something else. It took a look at the real person, I could relate to so many things he took her through and back around. The Sky is the limit. Go ya ya! Live your dreams, love your men, and make it do what it do.

This book was very good and I really did enjoy it. It kept my attention throughout. I think it truly deserved 5 stars. Now, here comes the but.....It really had the potential to be so much better! Don't get me wrong, I loved the story, the characters, the sex (Wow! the sex was so hot), and the drama. I felt that the story was lacking flow (at times) and needed more character development. Here's one example: I wanted to read more about Blue when he left for college and during college. All of a sudden, he just left! Sometimes the author just threw him in as a cameo, so to speak. I wanted to hear more about Danielle and how she was able to develop a relationship with Blue when he loved Yadira so much. Also, I didn't like how Yadira was sexing up every man she met once she left Black. In the beginning of the story, she was so inexperience with sex and then BAM! It was on. She was a trip! In the end, she was portrayed more as a Ho to me and NOT a Diva. With that said, I really did like this book and it was not boring at all. I will definitely keep reading books by this author because they are really entertaining, very erotic and romantic. Hopefully my review will be used as constructive criticism to help this author produce more wonderful erotic romance dramas.

Yadira's Sky was the first book I have ever read by Rory D. Sherriff. What can I say, but he is a truly exceptional writer. This book had my attention from the first page to the end. Our book club will most defintely have this as our BOM. I would suggest that everyone read it. Yadira is a woman who knows what she wants.

This book is truely a page turner!! I read the entire book in one day, it sucks you in and makes you want to find out what happens next!! I recommend this book if you enjoy books that leave you with many different emotions. This book makes you want to smile, laugh, and cry!!

Yadira's Sky by Rory D. Sheriff is a contemporary fiction novel filled with triumph and tragedy. Yadira is attracted to bad boys and the "more hood" the better. Blue boy is all of that plus some and he sweeps Ms. Yadira off her feet. The two are inseparable and everything is going well until Blue Boy must further his education and go off to college to follow his football dream. Blue Boy believes in Yadira lets her know the sky is the limit and one day she will become a star.

Yadira grows up not only physically but mentally, emotionally and spiritually as well. Taking heed to Blue Boy's words she pursues an acting career. Becoming an A-list entertainer is no longer a dream, it simply in time becomes a reality. In the midst of making it to the top Yadira is hit with a couple of serious low blows that temporarily gets in the path of her stardom. Is Yadira strong enough to set out and be what she knows she can be? Or will she settle for less?

This novel proved that Rory D. Sheriff is here to stay. The storyline is paced beautifully and the scenes are very detailed. "Yadira's Sky" is beautifully written from start to finish, which would allow for the easy read. The book is very descriptive and strategically written to play out as a movie. I have read plenty of novels and manuscripts but I would have to say this is by far in my top five. My staff and I are really looking forward to what the future holds for Mr. Sheriff.

I support this author and this novel to the fullest. Highly recommended.
