Fans of Basilisk would be wise to check out this series. Where Basilisk had a strong love story, this one is all about revenge. This series features hideous bad guys who are truly wicked, crazy ninja powers, and a group of women willing to do anything to avenge their husbands and fallen city.

This is a very mature series, even moreso than Basilisk, so be warned there is a lot of blood and nudity. It is there for a reason, though. It adds to the overall feel and mood of the story, letting you know that this is some dark stuff. I haven't read a lot of manga in my time and I enjoy a few different anime shows, but this series is just fantastic. I hope they release it as an anime series like they did for Basilisk.
