This scholarly,fascinating work manages to weave the origins of man, religion and UFOs into a truly mind-bending treatment held together by masterful analysis of religious writings (primaily the Old and New Testaments), solid logic and skillful writing. The impact of this work is potentially profound. It has caused me to look at the world in a different way. Be forwarned that this is also a disturbing book, with implications almost too incredible to contemplate. The author has performed a service to mankind with the writing of 'The Yahweh Encounters'. Not for the intellectually timid.

I read this book from cover to cover in just a couple of days. I was fascinated and intrigued by the author's re-interpretation of many well-known but puzzling Bible events. The author examines these carefully in the light of modern scientific knowledge. Included in her analysis are Ezekiel's description of a strange "wheel" in the sky which flew him up to "heaven," the deadly effects of the Ark of the Covenant on anyone who mishandled it (over 64,000 people died as a direct result of this, as chronicled in the Old Testament), the bizarre construction and practices surrounding King Solomon's temple, and the miracles of Jesus' ministry on earth. This book should be read with an open mind but you will find it quite fascinating and thought provoking.

Very well written! Lucid! Credible! And courageous in outlook and comprehensive in scope. This book does not dismiss Judaism/Christianity, but validates it with great care. Kudos to you, Mrs. Jones! I admire your work and hope you will do a follow up pertaining to "The War In Heaven" and the nature of Satan. In the very least, a great and substantial post-modern contribution to field of UFOlogy. Thank you!

This book really makes you think about u.f.os in the Bible. one of the most original and unique books I've read in a while. This book is filled with theories and facts that will blow you away. If you're curious about aliens in the Bible theories get started on this book as soon as you can. You don't have to believe, but it will make you think.

This is truly an amazing work! The information appears to be well researched and is presented in such a way that the average person can visualize the events depicted in the Bible but with new eyes. The "Yahweh Encounters" offers the reader a more logical understanding of how mankind came into being, rather than those promoted by "simple" religion. It brings to light that there are historical facts present allowing one to appreciate a more logical estimation of what the authors of the Bible were trying to explain.

Anne Madden Jones' work, The Yahweh Encounters is a phenomenal work. It's layout, content and pace is well arranged and presented. The subject-mater, like Patrick Cooke, author of The UFO Bible Connection and Eric Von Daniken's classic, Chariots of the Gods, deals largely with the UFO hypothesis as it relates to sacred writings of ancient religious text, but in this case (unlike Chariots) deals solely with the Bible. Many archaic and sanitised religious concepts such as the Holy Spirit (Ruach Ha Kadosh), aerial chariots of Yahweh, the Temple and Tabernacle construction and related rituals, Ark of the Covenant, miracles and prophetic events are looked at in context of man's current technologic evolution to a state of achieving similar advances in such abilities. In so doing equips the reader with an eye for the Scriptures that is completely divorced from the dogmatic rhetoric of a compartmentalised religious chokehold. Indeed, YAHWEY Himself disrupted the economy of Babel for fear that nothing will be withheld from whatever men put their hands to. So to in this day, mankind moves to yet another confrontation with the Creator as we again emerge with one language and a flourishing god-like economy. Could this have been what Messiah Yahshua (Jesus) could have meant (in part) when he said, "You are Elohim (gods)."

While I don't subscribe to all of Jones' conclusions, I must say that she has certainly done a remarkable job at broaching what at first glance is a totally unrelated set of subjects. She writes in a sometimes technical manner, but at the same time affectionately toward the Scriptures' authority.

This book has been one of the BEST I have ever read. It explores the Bible and plainly states about what the people of the time were dealing with in regards to dealing with the "Angels" and the Gods on close and personal ground on a daily basis. It also scientifically explains what the ritual devices were used for that are mentioned and detailed in the bible as well as why the many rituals and precautions for many of the items they used during that timeframe were so important and why the Gods word needed to be followed to a T for things to work and death adverted. Definitely a clarrification of parts of the bible such as the Ark and Soloman's temple. Some parts were alittle too scientific for my taste, nevertheless the author has done a great job with this book, and has keep her personal opinions as well as religious overtones to a minium and out of this book and finally gives an awesome, unafraid, non-taboo interturpretation of the Bible, that any open-minded person will enjoy. It does quote literature throughout, but that is only for the readers clarrification and biblical reference, as I noticed most people don't even bother to read their book of their religion in the first place. This book doesn't discount the Bible as some have suggested to me, but mearly explains all the technical aspects located IN THE BIBLE and how and why things were done. This sheds light on the Bible and has made it an better understanding for me and less a mystery. This book has answered alot of quesions that the local preists just ignore and touches on alot of the questionable items located in the bible to explain the how and why things were done a certain way in those times. This is an amazing book and I would definitely reccommend it for anyone interested in feeling out their religions and who have an open mind. Reading this book has almost made me more religious to the point of now I understand what these people were dealing with, unearthly craft, high technology, and unfriendly Angels almost on a daily basis. I have alot more respect for a people who, at that time, did not understand what was being pressed upon them, and did not understand these people who have come among them. A definite read for anyone who has ever questioned anything in the Bible or wants further clarrification and understanding as to why things were done a certain way. This will explain the bible in a way We can understand. PICK UP THIS BOOK UP.

I have read many "alternative history" books and what I really liked about this one was its objectivity yet sense of underlying faith. When so many books attempt to "debunk" christianity, this one actually can serve to provide a greater sense that there is a true uniqueness to the jewish and christian histories. And the good thing is that the author leaves that decision up to the reader. Well-documented, scholarly dealing with what is a far-out idea to most people. Its a good read though the technical details can get a little deep. Nevertheless, I highly respected that aspect even though I think it might have turned some readers away. Very pleased with the book. One thing I wanted to ask the author was that when she describes what she postulates to be an Eden that exist in an orbiting spacecraft, I was actually given the image of what could have just as easily been an earthbound greenhouse that was completely isolated, cut off and controlled with 24-hour artificial light and atmosphere.

I enjoyed this book very much. IT makes me think about who Yahweh really is or was. Very few books are worth the price. Ninety percent of the books I have bought I would not buy again. This book is the exception. It puts Yahweh as a more realistic person than a supernatural know all being. Yahweh just may return not on a literal cloud but on a spacecraft with high technology beyond what we know today to rescue his people the descendents of ancient Israel(Hebrews). The ancient covenant is still valid with Yahweh.

I am going to be very clear and simple. For people like me, with a scientific profession and with Rational and Logic way of thinking, this book has been GOLD for my Faith Restoration. Remember that Faith is nothing without knowledge. Now, why is this? Well, for years I have been studying Sacred Scriptures of different religions,cultures and beliefs systems, as well as many books,(UFOs-Prophetic, etc. which describes a lot of possibilities for the future of Planet Earth, etc. In particular, the Bible offers in great details prophecies and historical events that preachers and theologians explains them with mithological, mystical, and magic-like interpretations that makes many people, like me, to doubt and question many of their theories.

Nevertheless, this book, as the author,(Ann Maden Jones), suggest, gives the opportunity to those like me,(logic thought), to believe that this is something that can be real in terms of the possibilities that we are not alone in this planet, that other space beigns has been visiting the Planet Earth with their AGENDAS, good or bad, and now that we have all the modern technologies available, for good or bad,if we extrapolate this knowledge to the experience of the Bible Visionaries, etc. and many other comments by the people who wrote the Bible, then we can understand that all of this could happen in the past and can happen in the future.
That a "Star War" and a "Battle Star Galactica" can happen; that a "Stargate SG-1" TV series or "Dark Skies" events can or has happened in the past with GODS struggling for power, the Goods and the Bads, and so on.
The author very well analyzes all of this possiblities in the book using cross references with Bible writings. Of course there are other books as Zecarias Sitching, etc. that can be reviewed as well Spanish author Salvador Freixedo,(ex- Jesuit Priest).

In conclusion, this writing,(The Yahweh Encounters), has given me Hope, Realistic Possibilities that Something Greater will happen in the near Future,more than we think, in relation to Humanity and Planet Earth Future, and above all a Re-charging of Faith. That BETTER things are yet to come for those who Follow the Rules of All Mighty God,(Whoever or whatever He or She is).

Live the Good GOD Way of Life, and Do not Analyze it.Study the Bible with this New Vision of Possibilities. Do what Jesus said you should Do,and you will Restore your Hope and Faith, and Happiness will be with you for Ever and Ever, no matter what.
