Product Description

From the Manufacturer

CD-R discs are the most popular format for mass data and music duplication. These discs from Yamaha are individually jewel-cased and shrink-wrapped and feature a resistance reflective layer that can sustain forces of up to 120g (50% better than industry average). This resistance layer, along with the discs' built-in UV light degradation protection, provide an expected data life of greater than 100 years.

Use these discs for archival storage, audio CD recording, compiling songs on a CD, distribution of large files, MP3 music downloading, multimedia presentations, photo albums, photo storage, record keeping, software backup, write and record music. Storage capacity is 80 minutes or 700 MB of data. These discs are 100% compatible with all Yamaha and other CD-RW drives.

5.0 out of 5 stars The best CD's for any purpose, July 31, 2002
By A Customer
I definitely recommend this product, I myself have tried these, was a bit skeptical, but after using them, they are the most reliable CD's for any purpose, and are clear so if you are looking for "clear quality" this is the best you can get. They are durable, long lasting, and do not get ruined very easily. Like I said before, I definitely recommend this product.

5.0 out of 5 stars The Best for Music..., August 21, 2002
By A Customer
This review is from: Yamaha CDR80M2420S CD-R, 80 Minute, 700 MB, 24x (20-Pack with Slim Jewel Cases) (Electronics)
I just finished my first box of these CD-R discs used for making CD music discs. This is the ONLY brand so far (out of about 5 brands) that has NOT given me some sort of problem with my TEAC burner. I'm through experimenting with other brands...
