This is the first guitar I've ever owned, but it is hasn't been the only one I've played. The instructional booklet starts you off on picking and gives a chord reference of the most vital chords in the back, which was helpful in starting. The instrument itself? Beautiful. Tuning is rather painless, and the strings have thus far been durable, having lasted almost an entire year (since I bought it). Comes in its own handy-dandy tote bag so that you can take it anywhere. It might not be the cheapest, but it is a good buy. You can't go wrong here.

This is a beautiful guitar with clean, crisp sound. I'm recently getting back into playing and this is perfect for picking up where I left of 10 years ago! I asked some experts at a local guitar store and they said it's a very good guitar and the price is unbeatable! The gig bag isn't the greatest (it's a snug fit which makes the tuning pegs turn when putting in and taking out of the bag, therefore losing tune), but it's better than nothing. The tuner is also a bit flimsy, but it's close enough to sound good. You can always buy a new tuner or gig bag for $20 either online or in store. I'm very happy with my purchase!

My daughter (15) wanted to learn guitar so we got her this one. Great price, Great quality, Great deal. Came nicely packaged with wonderful zippered cloth travel bag. Nice pouch for storing books and picks. Sounds wonderful and if she loses it at school I won't have to kill her.

Good value for the money. Only rated four stars because the fifth string on mine was a bit hard to tune.
