Though this electronic keyboard stand wouldn't win any style awards at a Rachmaninoff competition, its cross-braced tubular steel design meets its sturdy mission. Six bolts and accompanying wing nuts bind the five black brackets and legs into a single unit. Peel off the backing of the 10 adhesive pads, and you're well on your way to elevating the status of this cold metal frame to that of a skid-resistant keyboard platform. Even if you're disinclined to read the directions, you'll probably have this stand unwrapped and assembled in 5 to 10 minutes.

Just a note to all interested in this stand: as of now, Amazon's technical details invert the width and height of the stand. It is actually 25.25" tall and 30 & 3/8" wide. I'm fairly tall. By losing 5 inches in the advertised height of the stand, my knees barely squeek under with my bench adjusted all the way down. The stand itself is sturdy, looks great, and is probably fine for those under 6". Anyone taller might want to consider something a tad taller. And Amazon: fix those specs, please.
