These are truly great little speakers. At normal listening volumes they are very balanced and indirect. Very bright and lifelike with lots of presence. I am very impressed. They are small speakers and don't have booming bass, but aren't bad either. They are perfect as dorm room or apartment speakers where a lot of rumble might get you into trouble, but still have a very high quality sound. Excellent tweeters, among the best I've heard at any price. Couple these with a decent subwoofer and you may never have to upgrade. Perfect as rear speakers for surround sound as well.

I bought these speakers a couple months ago and I used them as rear surround for most of that time. When I shipped my stereo to Iraq I left these two speakers and my reciever (Pioneer VSX 817-S), and now I use just these two speakers and a powered subwoofer. I was quite surprised at the power these little speakers really have and I highly recommend them to anyone who wants small yet powerful speakers.
