I'm buying a 3rd set of these for home. I bought two sets for a rental beach house in the Outer Banks and they have performed admirably. I was afraid they'd be blown after the first rental season, but on my last trip down there they sound as good as when first installed. I have a set exposed on the top deck and they're getting hit with rain and ocean mist and they still look good and sound good. I took one point off because they are not the best outdoor speakers I have heard, but for the price they are an excellent value.

We are simply thrilled with these speakers! They arrived quickly, in perfect condition and were very easy to install. The sound is fantastic, and a great value for the price. We installed them in our screened porch and love the way they tilt if you want to direct the sound in a certain direction. They also have safety clips so that if they were to fall off (which they don't seem like they will because they are firmly mounted), they wouldn't crash down on someone's head. I was very pleased that they came in white because they blend in nicely, having both a great appearance and great sound.

I bought these speakers so I could listen to music on our back patio. Hooked them up to our indoor surround and using an inexpensive A/B switch, I can listen to whatever I want when I'm on the back patio. It's a very small area, and I wasn't concerned about having to have the entire neighborhood hear, so high-end outdoor speakers were over-kill. These are perfect for my needs. Reasonably priced, easy to install, good audio quality, a vast improvement over my old boombox.

I kept debating between the 6.5" version and these. I ended up choosing these based on the price. I am glad I did. I installed these in the upper corners of my patio which helped increased the bass response. The sound is very clear, but probably not as much as some more expensive speakers would be. For the price its hard to complain. For most people, these are all you need.

I purchased these to replace a pair of JBL Northridge all-weather speakers that had one of the tweeters go bad.
New JBL's would have costed me $100 here, and I got these for about 2/3 of that here.
I figured since the JBL's had 4inch woofers and these have 5inch woofers, that the sound would be roughly the same if not better from these Yamahas. They sound OK, but the JBL's had a much fuller sound with deeper low end bass. As far as pure sound, I'd go with the JBL again vs these Yamahas.. But like I said, the JBL's did fail me, so its hard to recommend those either. I have these in a 13x16 sunroom, so they don't get wet or direct sunlight. I expect these to last longer than the JBL's. Hopefully they grow on me (or I can sell them and buy a new set of JBL's)

Another amazing Yamaha product, how could you go wrong. Price is right as well. Highly recommend.

Great speakers, they fill my backyard with excelent sound. Free shipping took about a week as expected. Very pleased.

I wanted speakers for a boat, but did not want to make 6" holes in any panels. These tucked out of sight, under the dashboard, mounted with two bolts. They don't have brain-thumping bass, but for normal listening they are great.

I was looking for a great pair of speakers for my porch. I went to the local Best Buy to see nothing but HIGH prices! Remembered Amazon and bam! I own Yamaha speakers! Great sound, I installed them in 5 minutes and we love them! Affordable, durable. Amazon is the way to buy!

Great product. They are durable and sound extremely well outside. I do not have them where they can be exposed to the elements so I can't comment on how they hold up to driving rain. They have performed very well and are attractive to look at. Easy to hook up and mount. There were no problems there. They are fairly heavy duty and I am sure they will last a long time. I am very happy with my purchase.
