Being familiar with Yamaha keyboard, I expected

features and the quality I have come to expect

from Yamaha equipment. After I received the keyboard,

I was amazed at the quality and features for this low price.

Almost 500 voices and a sing along feature make this a great

buy for those looking for a fun instrument for the entire family

without busting the budget.

I haven't seen anything comparable to this keyboard by

any other manufacturer. I play the keyboard daily

and have had many hours of entertainment from it.

This is definately one of the better electronic keyboards out there, and buying it half-price from [...] gives you good value for your money. Although, you can get even better quality if you're willing to pay more.

Whether you buy this keyboard or another one, one feature that I'd say musicians must get is touch-sensitive keys. Touch-sensitive keys make the keyboard behave like a real piano: the harder you press, the louder it gets. In my opinion, touch-sensitivity is what makes the difference between a play toy and a true musical instrument. The grand piano voice on this keyboard sounds good, but it still can't compete with the sound of a real grand piano. (Perhaps it would if you plugged it into a good home theater system, but I'm not sure.)

Although this keyboard's keys are touch-sensitive, like most electronic keyboards, its keys are made of light plastic. I have seen some more expensive full size keyboards that have keys that have the weight of real piano keys. Yamaha also has a higher priced full-size keyboard that has better sound.

I had to returne the first keyboard because it was not playing. I received the second one immediately! Good service!
