The theater includes a matched speaker system, (2 main, 3 surround, 1 center channel), a powered subwoofer, a 5-disc DVD changer, and a 6.1 channel A/V home theater receiver. At 730 watts, the system packs an impressive wallop.
The progressive scan DVD changer, with its 5-disc carousel, plays both video and audio discs, as well as CDs and VCDs. Broad connectivity also allows playback of picture CDs, MP3s, and slideshows.
The speaker system sports 6 1/2" woofers in the main speakers and a dual 3" woofer center channel speaker. Both the center and main speaker are magnetically shielded, allowing placement near other electronic devices without interference.
The 100W advanced YST subwoofer uses a 6 1/2" driver with a frequency response of 30Hz to 200Hz.
The 6.1 channel A/V home theater receiver delivers 100W per channel. With Dolby Digital EX and Dolby ProLogic II decoding and Yamaha's original 320bit cinema-dps processing, you'll understand every whisper and feel every explosion.
For those not interested in spending the time and energy in putting together their own custom system, the Yamaha YHT-755 system makes perfect sense. It has everything you need, and it all works together to provide a great multimedia experience.

This review is from: Yamaha YHT-755 Total 730 Watts 6.1 Channel Home Theater in a Box with DVD Player (Electronics)
I get this system from a store and it was not an open box. BUT I CANT BELIEVE IT, if you want to see a DVD and hear a DVD in DVD mode, you need to buy a TOSLINK cable to have sound out of this device! That thing cost less than five bucks and is not included on the box??? Yamaha, don't do shamefull things!
Also, it have so many sound modes, that it would drive you crazy to find the right one. Personally, I liked the 6 channels DTS decoding, it looks that have more power than dolby surround or dolby prologic (hate that dolby prologic sound in any system! It is awful!).
