Each piece of Yamazaki Solari flatware features a dramatic depression in the handle that adds a lively element to everyday dining. Bright as a mirror, the polished finish calls out the designs simple but striking lines. Solari is crafted from 18/8 stainless steel with 18 percent chrome for corrosion-resistance and 8 percent nickel for luster. The knife blades are fashioned from high-carbon cutlery steel to retain their precise edges over time.
A versatile collection to have on hand, this 65-piece Solari dinnerware set includes place settings for 12. Each setting consists of a 7-inch salad fork, a 7-3/4-inch dinner fork, a 9-3/8-inch knife, a 7-1/2-inch soupspoon, and a 6-3/4-inch teaspoon. There is also a five-piece serving set--a serving spoon, a serving fork, a slotted spoon, a sugar spoon, and a butter knife. All pieces store tidily in a wooden storage caddy measuring 16-1/4 by 12-1/4 by 2-3/4 inches. As with its other patterns, Yamazaki backs Solari with a full lifetime warranty against defects. --Emily Bedard
