Cool contemporary design aside this is the best quality set I found anywhere and less espensive to boot. All the sets I found at the department stores were cheaply made. Their two piece design wobbled between the handle and the knife, not the Yamazaki it is strong in design and style.
Awesome Wedding set!

We used this cake cutting set at our wedding. We considered the serving set one of the less important items at our wedding, so we wanted something that looked nice, but was relatively inexpensive. We ordered this set, and I was pleasantly surprised at the high quality of the serving set. The metal is sturdy and looks attractive (not too shiny or too dull, a good brushed tone). This was something we weren't planning on keeping after the wedding, but I kept it because it's such a nice serving set!

Bought this for my wedding, very disappointed. The knife came bent, and the set wasn't nearly as good looking as in the pictures. I returned it. Ended up ordering a simliar set from Amazon by Mikasa and really like that one.

We were very excited to find this set- the price is VERY reasonable and the quality is great!!

This set is a great inexpensive option to those fussy and often too expensive sets they sell for weddings. Plus you can actually use them in the kitchen after. They feel nice and sturdy too.

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this product. I bought it primarily for the server, but the knife turned out to be a nice weight, with a comfortable handle, and it cuts into a delicate crust without destroying it. The server is great, and we use the set all the time, as I am a big pie baker. I'm glad I finally bought the set as I had gotten used to having the first pie piece completely fall apart -- now the first piece out looks pretty darn good.

I got this to use at my wedding 2 years ago. After looking for a set like this online and in the stores I found this was the nicest set, nicer than some that were more expensive. I liked the quality of this so much (very sturdy) we also ended up ordering the silverware set that matches this. Very happy with it!

Great brushed metal look and unique shape. Not quite as heavy as some others I have looked at, but also not a piece that I will be using every single day. I bought this for my wedding and am pleased enough to register for the rest of the flatware, as well.

Bought these to use at our wedding. To me they are much classier than the typical wedding cake sets I saw at the stores. They cost the same as the other sets, but are definitely something I will use again. We liked the weight of the pieces so much that we also bought the flatware in this style.

The only negative comes from the way items are packed. I ordered this item with a photo album, which was underneath the serve set - the weight of the serve set left impressions on the photo album's cover.

I just love it. It is what I was looking for. Just perfect to my wedding day. Everybody like it.
