Yankee Candle Beach Walk Large Jar 22oz Candle

The Beach Walk candle by Yankee Candle is a good spring or summer scent that contains a touch of orange, musk, and tangerine. The candle also supposedly contains a scent of salt water, I really did not notice that. Still, a good and strong scent. A good candle when you want to have a "fresh and clean" scent in your room or house.

Recommended.

Right from the Coastal lines of the tropic zone of FL on the Gulf Coast, this is my 3rd all time favorite Yankee Candle - While it had gone through various names over the years, it is still the one and same while the front design has slightly changed and the color or hue of the candle has grown from a medium dark to a sandy sea or sky blue color which is more fitting overall, probably the best thing they have done but they have NOT changed the scent.

Word of warning, this is a strong scented candle so I do not recommend lighting more than 1 in a 2,000 sq ft home, for it would be too over-powering. On the norm, I usually let this burn for at least 2 hours and that's it and the smell would linger for the rest of the day and if it was lit at night, it would hover all night and still remain a trace or hint of the smell by the end of the day (for those who lives in the tropic zones or runs on air conditioning systems); it might be differing for those who have windows opened, for my guess is that the scent would not have a lasting effect.

I did notice one thing, sometimes there are left over candle wax; that which I keep and store but one day, my married son was pulling down something from the closet and forgot about the storage of "wax" blocks I had up there (I create my own candles) and the whole thing can tumbling down in sections. What my son missed, was this Ocean - which now is Beach Walk from Yankee Candle Jar that were remnants. Since he had the special zippered garment bag opened (don't ask, because he can't even remember why) the remnant box of the Yankee Candle Beach Walk ended up in there on the bottom. Both of us had hunted high and low all over the place for it and without any avail, just could not find it.

Until the day, I had the need to wear the expensive outfit when I unzipped it, and oh by, did it ever smell so good in there (*laughing*) and for the life of me, I couldn't figure out how? Only then and there did I finally find that Beach Walk leftover candle wax block, but I was surprised to see dead silver-worms and month larvae and to say I thought Cedar was the most preferred garment protection - that which I had in there, but they seemed to be so attracted to this Yankee Candle's Beach Walk remnant wax block I had in there. But due to old age (It was my Grand-
parent's Garment Bag), it finally just fell apart.

Maybe instead of throwing out the Yankee Candle Beach Walk Jar into the trash when it is done if it still has candle wax remaining - why not put it in your closet shelf or tuck in the flexible shoe rack or your favorite Yankee Candle Scent that is strong scented. It works, leaves no residue on your garments or anything, yet keeps your closet smelling fresh.

More bang for your bucks there...

I love Yankee candles and while they are pricey they are a great treat! This scent was great although not too strong if you like strong scents.
