5.0 out of 5 stars You Ought To Be in Pictures (1940), January 8, 2012
This review is from: Looney Tunes: Daffy Duck (Amazon Instant Video)
1: You Ought To Be In Pictures is a classic of Daffy Duck temporarily tricking Porky Pig, into leaving Warner Brothers' cartoons and try a theatrical acting career. There is quite a bit of animation and raal life scenery put together, in this classic, Warner Brothers animation producer of the time, Leon Schlesinger, cartoon writer Michael Maltese are two of the eight to ten real life human beings acting in real life. After Porky's numerous failures in the theatre, Porky decides to return to Warner Brothers asking Leon Schlesinger of his contract, thinking it was expired, as soon as he left. Leon Schlesinger knowing that Porky would return, to the animation studio, did not tear up or expire Porky's contract. Then as soon as Porky knows that his career is still okay, Porky calls Daffy, into another room and beats Daffy Duck up, temporarily, for tricking him to leave, as Daffy Duck was hoping to be the top Warner Brothers' cartoon star. 2: Yankee Dooodle Daffy is of Daffy Duck, continiously trying to avoiding a small man that has a draft certificate to draft the Daffy into the army.
