I've just finished up this candle and loved it.

The scent of FARMHOUSE APPLE is that of a baking apple pie. I detect cinnamon and apple and sweet. It's not a just pure fresh apple scent like Yankee Candle's "MACINTOSH" fragrance.

I've been buying and using Yankee Candles for over twenty years. I love them for their strong scent and their high quality wicks that allow for a long burn time. This candle's scent could be detected in the room it burned in, and in the next room.

The rule of thumb for value and long burn time is this: the Yankee Candle jar candles are a better value for your dollar. The larger the candle, the less money it costs per hour of burn time.

The trick with these jar candles is to follow the directions. If you light them for one or two hours then blow them out they will make a small circle down the center of the wax. That is not a candle defect it would be 'misusing' the candle. If you want shorter burn times consider buying the Yankee Candle votive candles instead. The wicks are high quality and they do not fall apart like other brands of candles.

My favorite scents are the food scented Yankee Candles.
