This Yard-Man mower has a single speed front wheel drive transmission. The mower comes equipped with a 6.5hp Briggs & Stratton Quantum engine that will provide plenty of power to handle your lawn care needs. The triple care system includes a 2.3-bushel rear bag, mulch kit and side discharge chute. The 21" 'Supreme Mulch' deep dome mulching deck provides finely cut clippings that decompose rapidly into soil for a healthier lawn. The 9-position fingertip wheel height adjustment will adjust the cutting height from 1" to 3 1/2" to meet any lawn condition. This lawnmower also has easy folding handles for convenient transportation and easy off-season storage. The 12" ball bearing rear wheels are ideal for rigorous terrain and landscape challenges. The front wheels are 8" x 2". It comes fully assembled with oil in the carton.

I received the lawnmower in perfect condition ready to have the gas and oil put in, raise the handle and start mowing. I have only used it once but was amazed at how easy it was to turn corners with it and the speed with which it moved. Good walking pace for me. I was mowing high grass with the mulch mode in use and it did overheat. I will use the bag for the rest of the high grass and hope that fixes the overheating problem. I am very pleased with this lawnmower

The shipment of this lawnmower was awful. I uncrated the box to find the cap to the quart of oil that came with the lawmower cracked, and oil strewn everywhere along the inside of the box and mower. But the worst of it came when I noticed the right rear wheel askew and immovable. After taking off the wheel, I noticed that the wheel axel was bent on a 45 degree angle. I was ready to send his mower back to Amazon.com, but noted the return policy that stated that anything containing oil or flammables cannot be returned. I was able to repair the axel myself to the point where the wheel can now turn. I've learned my lesson never to buy something like this online again.

The box was total open when the mower arrived. It looked as if the lawn mower fell out and was put back into the box. Oil came out and clogged the air filter so the mower was not able to start. I replaced the air filter and the mower now works 100% but I would be wary buy items like this online again.
