22HP Briggs & Stratton Intek V-Twin engine provides maximum torque power for the most demanding lawn care needs. With a 46" triple-blade cutting deck, this unit is equipped to groom the largest lawns. The 46" cutting deck is 3 in 1 capable for mulching (mulch kit included), side discharge (standard) and bagging. (bag is optional). It even has grease zerks on the spindles for ease in maintanence. The 6-position fender-mounted deck adjustment offers easy, convenient operation. The cutting deck height can be adujsted from 1 1/4" to 4". Hydrostatic AutoDrive transmission with foot-pedal control and reverse feature provides smooth speed adjustment. Cruise control is available for larger lawns. The fully welded, all steel step-thru tractor frame is Yard-Man's most durable heavy-duty frame. Perfect for adding all available attachments. The cast-ion pivoting front axle allows the tractor to ride over uneven terrain while maintaining an even and professional cut. Cat-iron provides increased durability. The 18" tight turn steering radius for better maneuvering around landscaping. Systems monitor package with hourmeter alerts the operator to oil pressure, PTO, parking brake and battery voltage status. The 15" x 6" front and 20" x 8" rear wheels provide added traction when taking on big jobs. We even provide a cup holder for your favorite beverage! I've put the Yardman H701 to hard use for 3 summers. I don't know what more I could want from a riding mower. This machine sits outside all season, garaged only 4 months. It starts immediately, runs smoothly and handles very well. When ordered in 2004, Amazon shipped the wrong machine. I used that one to mow my overgrown turf once until the correct model arrived. The incorrect model was picked up when the H701 was delivered...no problem. I've replaced the expensive main drive belt once. Other maintenance is simple greasing, oiling and oil/filter changes. All very simple.
