I got this through LTD, at a good price. I really loved the idea of being able to have 6 different strands of yarn available, especially as I do some projects which are multi-colored. As I said, it's a great idea....BUT.....
You have to assemble the carrier yourself as NOTHING comes already put together. This includes taking the plastic and getting them to load properly in very small channels, hoping the whole time that one side doesn't pop out before you are done. Then you have to hope it stays put together. I won't lie...it took me over an hour to get the dern thing assembled. Now I'm afraid to put yarn in it, for fear it's going to all fall apart while I tote a project around. I will give it a test drive in a confined area.
For those struggling to get it assembled, this is what I finally ended up doing.
First, get the outer walls loaded into the inner lid part. Second, load the inner walls/dividers and stabilizers into the bottom part. Then, very carefully bring the two pieces together, lining up so everyone goes into their appropriate channel. Do not be afraid to ask for an extra set of hands to help you.
It shall be interesting to see how long this item lasts in my possession.
