This is one of the most important fully original American albums of the last 40 years. It easily ranks with Sweatheart of The Rodeo, Aereo Plain, Old And In The Way, Washington Square Seranade, Crossing Muddy Water, October Road -and then some.

What is more surprising is that it is their first record. This usually means that the next record will be a full-out masterpiece.

I have been buying records for 40 years and this reminded me of buying Tom Wait's "Closing Time" -Another first record that is classic.
