Usher's "Confessions" has maintained its stay on the Billboard charts for awhile now. He has 17 songs of sure "fire" on his hands. However, what we have to understand as music fans is that most artists make anywhere from 30 or more songs and then they decide what 12-18 songs will actually make the CD. What makes you upset as a music fan at times is when you start to hear these songs that didn't make the cut to be on the CD and they are better than some of the songs that are on the CD.

Usher has approximately 5 songs that aren't on the actual "Confessions" CD that I have heard on the radio. "Whatever I Want" which is an uptempo song ready to be played at any party, "Confessions Part 1" which is the original story to the "Confessions Part 2" track that is wore out on the radio everyday, the remix to "Confessions Part 2" which features an incarcerated Shyne rapping over a phone, Jermaine Dupri, Twista and Kanye West, "My Boo" featuring Alicia Keys and "Red Light" which is produced by Lil Jon.

"Red Light" sounds as if it's a sequel to "Yeah". Usher hooks up with a woman and he thought that the situation would be easy to control, but after spending a night with her, he can't get the woman out of his head and he begins fantasizing about her in his head at the red light. Why this song couldn't be after "Yeah" on the actual CD beats me. Maybe he didn't want to overuse Lil Jon after knowing that "Yeah" would be the first single. Who knows? However, "Red Light" definitely deserves to be on the CD.

"Sweet Lies" is produced by The Neptunes and will remind you somewhat of "U Don't Have To Call", another track the Neptunes produced. How this song didn't make the album, once again, Who knows? This track is right up there with the best songs that are "Confessions". "Sweet Lies" basically just has Usher wishing that he could hook up with someone that is serious and someone that can be honest about everything that is going on in their relationship.

I don't need to say anything about "Yeah" featuring Ludacris and Lil Jon because I am sure that you have heard the song 539 times by now.

If you are a music collector like me and you like the "Confessions" CD, this will be a worthy purchase for you because "Red Light" and "Sweet Lies" are two quality tracks from Usher. He is planning to re-release "Confessions" with new tracks and some of those tracks may be the ones that I have heard on the radio. Once artists make all those songs, the decision process isn't easy in deciding what songs actually make the CD, unless we're talking about Usher's "Pop Your Collar", but that's another story.

Ima can't do it no mo' Ima can't! I swear I swear. Hear this music and it's all like "yeah", then you think sexy thoughts that is what this song will make you do. It's basically sex... got it?

As much as I hate that dreadlock-sporting, goblet-holding, non-rapping, ad-libbing Lil Jon and his minimalistic, countrified "crunk" beats... "Yeah!" is fantastic. But that's only because Usher is on it. Usher is fast on the track to becoming the next Michael Jackson (I don't think anyone will surpass M.J. musically or stylistically EVER, but Usher could be as popular one day). He's sold 1.1 million in the first week, for pete's sake. This is one of my favorite club-joints of all-time because it's ridiculously-catchy (you wake up and it's still in your head) and just watching the video to accompany it is even better. I think Usher has done to "crunk" what M.J. has done to "New Jack Swing", meaning that the song is okay on its own, but put on a great vocalist, and it's on. Best single of the year.

I have to admit that I liked this song the first 1,000 times I heard it,but it doesn't really have the longevity and artistry of the songs on his new and great album,"Confessions",but it still has good production and Ludacris is a good addition to it.A little annoying,but still likeable.And,like I said,a good mainstream move,just not a good move if he wants to be known as a serious artist.

Yeah baby...i think you know its a cool song even before you here it because of the simple word-Yeah. That word can say so much. This song just has a beat that everyone attracts to, and Lil Jon is a major part of that. What better 3 artist could they have picked? Lil Jon, Usher, and Ludacris. i gave it 5 stars because its great.

The unreleased tracks, "Red Light" & "Sweet Lies" are marvolous.
Even though Usher put "Red Light" on his special edition of "Confessions", "Sweet Lies" still remains an exclusive to the states.

Possibly one of the biggest hits of 2004, is Yeah any good? Well it has a nice beat, Usher's got a good voice, and Ludacris sounds good on it too. Too bad that I find Lil Jon sort of annoying and the fact that it don't take that much talent repeating "yeah" over and over again. My opinion don't matter anyway...

This song is great--huge compliment to Usher and Luda, considering I can't stand Lil John. Other reviewers criticizing Luda's lyrics should lay off. Every artist he helps out by throwing in a short rap profits from it. May be a bit degrading to women, but I'm a woman and still a HUGE fan. Don't take it so seriously. Most rappers say the same type, if not worse lyrics.

I said yeah this is a good song even thought there is a subpar verse by Luda the tracks instumental is banging and Usher gives us a good performance and of course Lil Jon yells Yeah-Yeah

It just comes to me as a surprise when it comes to artists stepping beyond the mainstream now. There just are too many exactly sounding the same. For Usher, that really isn't at all a adequate sign to enhance a long-term career. Anyway, he still has a long way to go with collaboration. His single, Yeah!!, a collaboration with Ludacris isn't really a all out song that stands out to me. Although the song does have some great beats. It really isn't the kind of collaboration I was really expecting of Usher. I was hoping for more of an Hip Hop Soul ballad, just like he had with You Got It Bad. This song is great, but it is just tiring, because it has been played out already.
