About the Author

Mr. Gutman developed the first website devoted to Y2K legal issues and his Handbook is the first book on Y2K law. He has spoken at the National Press Club, appeared on Good Day New York, and his comments on Year 2000 have been featured in many newspapers.

He also wrote Litigating Year 2000 Liability, Tax and Accounting Treatment of Year 2000 Costs, and Does the Uniform Commercial Code Apply to Year 2000. Mr. Gutman is a graduate of Drew University and the University of Michigan Law School where he served as associate editor of its Journal of Law Reform. He maintains a law office in Parsippany, New Jersey.
