Contrary to what another reviewer has stated, the box set does include the "Into The Unknown" album. Bizarre that this simple fact is subject to controversy and/or misinterpretation.

I first saw them when I was 8 or 9 in the early 80's before their Hiatus before Suffer and have been a life long fan since, I have seen them all over the country and even in Argentina! I got this for 2 reasons,

1 To have Vinyl Copies of all their albums (I got True North and their original EP on Vinyl as well and added them to the set, wish they would repress Back To The Known on Vinyl as well)

2 To take the slip covers of all of them and Frame them and hang them on my living room wall.

Oh and for her birthday what did my 14 year old Daughter want? Me to take her to see Bad Religion (her favorite band too!) we are going on the 20th.

- Excellent packaging - 5/5. Quality cardboard with plenty of space to fit in the missing ep's later if one so wishes. The box is cut so that you can easily pull a record out for listening.
- Transparent red vinyl on most albums. However, 4 albums starting from "Stranger then Fiction" (Sony years) are not transparent, but solid red. Some audiophiles argue that solid red is not as durable as transparent. Best would have been 180g black virgin vinyl of course.
- The music is great. If you are not familiar with their earlier stuff, you can do you yourself a big favour by listening to "How could hell be any worse?", "No control", "Suffer", "Against the Grain" or "Generator", for instance . Those are all fantastic albums. The rest are great too.
- Couple of words about "Into the Unknown". It's not bad at all! The album has its obvious weaknesses, but on the other hand it's a very interesting one. Greg can clearly play the keyboards pretty well, and this album has his keyboards all over the place. Sounds like other players are still trying to play punk, while Greg is fullfilling his rather bizarre visions on keyboards. Could have done with some producing there.
- I think it's worth it.

I bought this as a gift for my boyfriend and it does contain the "Into the unknown" album. If yours does not, like another reviewer suggested I would complain and send it back for a refund or new set. It contains all 15 full length albums re-pressed on red vinyl (It does not include any of their EP's, even "Back to the Known" which was originally released as a 12" EP, so it is not a complete collection in some people's minds).

Albums included are: How Could Hell Be Any Worse?, Into the Unknown, Suffer, No Control, Against the Grain, Generator, Recipe For Hate, Stranger Than Fiction, The Gray Race, No Substance, New America, The Process of Belief, The Empire Strikes First, New Maps of Hell and The Dissent of Man.

This makes a great gift for a Bad Religion fan!
