This book is fabulous. The writing is evocative of every conceivable emotion. It's funny, poignant and beautifully written. The author is one of my top ten favorite - write up there with Victor Hugo, Elizabeth Berg, Anne Tyler, to name just a few. Not just for kids, although perfect for young readers.
