A 5+ Year Old Juniper Bonsai Tree in Japanese Setku Bowl

What nicer thing to hear than your best friend telling you that his husband blurted this out with a big smile when they opened the package I sent them for their anniversary!
I had decided only days before I placed the order that I wanted to give them a bonsai tree if I could possibly afford it. I was pleasantly surprised to see how reasonable this tree was, but admit I was worried: could it possibly be as lovely as the picture?
It was! The lovely juniper bonsai was almost an exact duplicate of the online image, with the same graceful lines and attractive traditional bonsai bowl.
And although there was no option to enclose a gift card when I checked out (which is something I suggest the seller correct) I sent an email asking if a gift note with my specific wording could be added. The seller did so: accurately written and at no charge.
In addition, my friends received their gift at the very earliest date within the window of time projected.
A wonderful gift at good price; delivered with better service than I could have expected.
What more could you ask for?

These are really great little trees, i have a 21 year old Japanese Garden Juniper bonsai tree and I love it! If you take good care of them and put them outside during the fall and the winter they will grow a ton in the spring when you bring them back inside. They are the perfect beginner's bonsai!

I bought this as a Christmas present for my boyfriend in 2009. I was a bit nervous purchasing something so fragile..didn't know how the shipping and handling would treat it. It arrived on time and very securely wrapped/packaged leaving no room for ruin. Most importantly, it looked great- very similar to the picture. This is our first experience with a bonsai tree and it continues to be a very healthy little plant. Perfect for starters I'd say.

It has been my first bonsai and is a charm - a beautiful tree sitting in an authentic Japanese container, and is easy to care for. I have owned the tree for almost a year. In term of care, I follow the instruction by placing it in a well lit room (with at least a couple of direct sunlight) with well circulated air (also air-conditioned in the summer) and it has thrived. The watering however can be a bit tricky; I tend to over-water the tree in the beginning, at one point I had to contact the seller for care advice, it was revived fortunately. I have bought a couple more since as Christmas and birthday gifts to my daughter and a good friend. This bonsai tree is a winner.

Bought this tree as a birthday gift for my mother. She has told me before that she always wanted one. :-) She loved it and was so excited!! She said that it came through the shipping process wonderfully and that the tree was beautiful. I would for sure buy from this seller again!

I thought the bonsai was a cute little tree at first, but I noticed little bugs on my desk where I kept the tree. I didn't think about why they were they at first, but after 2 weeks, I noticed the tree was crawling from little mites that were coming up out of the soil. I'm sure the seller didn't intend on this happening, but I'll never order another bonsai.

Addition - Seller was great. They recieved my email about the bus & offered me a full refund. They explained it was not intentional & that flooding in their area may have caused it.

It looks almost identical to the one in the picture except for the bowl. The bowl in the picture is BLUE. The one I got was in a BROWN bowl! The rock in the picture is black but the one I got is red but oh well. It is very easy to care for and it is nice to look at.

Great price and it was very well packaged. I kept it for 2 weeks before giving it as a gift and new branches were already starting. the person I gave it to was very pleased with it. I will buy another one in the near future.

It is worth the money that I spent for this bonsai tree. I purchased it two months ago, and it has been doing very well and growing! The tree is fresh, green, and healthy; and the style is artistically created. One of the lowest price for juniper bonsai, yet, it is one small, cool living art to display in the office. Thanks!

Got this for my fiancée and he loved it! Unfortunately, he was not blessed with a green thumb and our tree passed away a couple months after getting it.
Tree was in great health when we received it. Good packaging, too.
